When does ‘Fuller House’ season 2 premiere? Netflix has the answer

fuller house season 2 premiere date netflix
Netflix
The holidays are a time for family — even fictional ones — so Netflix is bringing back one of TV’s most famous in December: the Tanner clan.  Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner-Fuller) revealed the show’s season 2 premiere date on The View today, reports Variety.

With new episodes arriving on Netflix on December 9, the series will be full of holiday cheer. The second season is “holiday-themed,” so we’ll see the Tanners celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve. The festivities should serve as a fun and heartwarming backdrop for the family sitcom, while offering up plenty of opportunities for members of the original Full House cast to drop in.

The first season centered on original stars D.J., Stephanie (Jodi Sweetin), and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) as they moved back into the Tanner family home — D.J. because she had been widowed, and Stephanie and Kimmy to help her raise her three sons. They also got occasional support from other members of the family, including Tanner patriarch Danny (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), Aunt Becky (Lori Laughlin), and Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier).

Season 1 was full of ’90s nostalgia, and season 2 won’t be lacking, either. Fuller House season 2 will include a guest appearance by New Kids on the Block’s Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, and Jordan and Jonathan Knight. The next installment will also continue to follow D.J. as she deals with dating after the death of her husband. Clearly, the Tanner-Fuller family will be keeping busy.

The Fuller House Facebook account shared the news of the premiere date being announced, calling it an “early holiday present,” and revealed a new poster as well.

Fuller House season 2 hits Netflix on December 9.

Jack Wolfe on The Magic Flute and Shadow and Bone season 2
A boy sits on the floor with a flute in The Magic Flute.

At the first glance, The Magic Flute appears to be your regular, run-of-the-mill YA fantasy movie: a young boy with a distinctive scarf goes to a faraway school, where he discovers a magical land filled with snakes, princesses, and yes, a magic flute. The words "Harry" and "Potter" are never uttered, but the movie doesn't hide its similarities with a certain bespectacled boy wizard.

Yet as soon as the characters start singing -- and singing opera arias no less -- you realize this movie is quite different than any other fantasy movie out there. In a conversation with Digital Trends, lead actor Jack Wolfe talks about the challenges of starring in a film that's equal parts fantasy and musical, his love for the fantasy genre, and how his current role as Wylan Hendricks in season 2 of Shadow and Bone differs from his role as Tim in The Magic Flute.

shadow and bone season 2 when you can watch netflix show 1

One of 2021's breakout hits was Netflix's Shadow and Bone, a big-budget fantasy series that appealed to fans of the Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Twilight franchises. Adapted from Israeli American author Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone young adult novel, the eight-episode series told the story of Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li), a young orphan raised in Ravka who discovers she is a Grisha, which means one who has special abilities. She must eventually combat the ominous threat of Aleksander Kirigan (Ben Barnes), who is also known as The Darkling.

The first season of Shadow and Bone was a bit hit with critics and audiences alike, becoming only the third show on Netflix to remain at #1 in the ratings for 12 straight days. Naturally, a second season was quickly ordered, and last year, production commenced on the highly anticipated follow-up season. Fans know Shadow and Bone season 2 is just around the corner, but when exactly will it be released? And what additional information is out there about the season? You season 4, part 2’s ending explained
Rhys and Joe stand side by side outside in a scene from You season 4.

Joe Goldberg, aka Jonathan Moore, was in a pickle by the shocking midseason finale of season 4 of You, which premiered in early February. The killer was revealed to be Rhys, and Joe narrowly escaped with his life. He was finally cleared in the eyes of those who made it out of the mansion alive (all but Gemma). But he still didn’t reveal the identity of the Eat the Rich killer to the others.

Why? Initially, the assumption was that Joe presumably wanted Rhys all to himself, though the twists and turns that unraveled in the back half of the season proved otherwise. Nonetheless, in the beginning, the tables had turned and Rhys was in the driver’s seat, manipulating Joe like a puppet. He showed up at Joe’s house unannounced, pushed Joe to frame someone as the killer, and even threatened him by suggesting that Marienne didn’t make it on the train back to Paris after all, but rather, was in serious trouble. So how does part 2 of You season 4 end? Digital Trends has all the spoilers for you below.
Is Rhys really the evil mastermind in You season 4?
