If you are particularly courageous, or just like to gain early access to the latest software updates, Microsoft also hosts an Office Insider program that provides just the sort of early access that you might crave. Recently, Office Insiders on the Slow ring — there is also a Fast ring for the most adventurous — received an update to Office Mobile providing a few new features, as WinBeta reports.
First up are new Chart Elements, which allow users to easily add and remove titles, data labels, and legends. The new chart elements are available in Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, and PowerPoint Mobile.
Next up is the ability to edit charts in Word Mobile. The new controls enable users to change chart types and adjust chart colors, layout, and styles directly in Word Mobile.
OneNote Mobile can now share individual pages, compared to the previous limitation to sharing only entire notebooks. Users can select a page and send a viewing link to collaborators, who can then view the note in a browser without needing to sign in. Note that only select Insiders are currently receiving this functionality.
Finally, users can now shade tables in OneNote. The ability to add color to cells, rows, and columns should make tables easier to read.
