Adult webcam service, CamSoda, is looking to branch out into more everyday activities and is putting up cold hard cash for those willing to participate. If you are accepted as part of the program where you will show what your life is like 24/7, it will send you up to three HD webcams, pay your monthly internet bill and furnish you with a $200 payment every single month.

“Live-streaming has quickly become a focal point of our society, with more people than ever broadcasting themselves to reach and connect with large audiences more intimately,” CamSoda’s vice president Darren Press said. “Unlike […] social media networks, where users choose the moments they want to broadcast and share, our offering broadcasts everything – from surfing the internet to eating lunch.”

Although traditionally an adult webcam service (be warned, its website is not safe for work), CamSoda is explicit in saying that LifeStreams do not need to be. The point is to live-stream someone’s entire home life and it is confident that that sort of stream can draw in viewers.

Those fans will be able to view participants through CamSoda’s online platform, as an unfiltered live-stream, or look at parts of the day that have been recorded. They will have the ability to skip through the stream’s past 24 hours, looking for anything exciting they might like to watch.

Those signing up to the scheme will be paid a flat rate of $200 a month for streaming their lives 24/7 and CamSoda will pay their internet bill in its entirety. To make the streaming possible, CamSoda will send out between one and three, 720P webcam rigs for recording the ongoing content.

However, this is just the beginning of what CamSoda believes will be an exciting new content source for viewers. It is currently testing a virtual reality camera system, which would allow viewers to get an up close and much more personal view of their favorite streamers’ lives.

The VR component is expected to debut within the next few months.

If you would like to sign up to be a part of CamSoda’s new LifeStream platform, all you need to be is over 18 and you can apply. CamSoda will vet you, however, so you will want to have a fairly interesting home life to be considered. Although CamSoda has made it clear it’s looking for non-sexual and non-nude streams too, several of those already accepted as part of the scheme are often nude it seems, so being willing to take your clothes off in front of a camera or two is unlikely to hurt your chances of acceptance.

For those interested in applying, you can get in touch with CamSoda by emailing it at lifestream@camsoda.com.

Fortunately, there’s a way to download Facebook videos to your everyday gadgets, although it’s not as straightforward a process as it could be.
