How to watch GM unveil the Chevy Silverado EV live at CES 2022 today

CES continues to be a destination for all of the usual tech categories like computers, phones, wearables, and TVs, but in recent years, it has also turned into quite the exhibition of automotive advancements. One of the big car keynotes this year is coming from GM, where it just unveiled the new Chevy Silverado EV pickup truck and likely much more.

GM's "Exhibit Zero" announcements will come from its CEO Mary Barra, at her keynote today (January 5) at noon ET (9 a.m. PT). GM is streaming the keynote live on its Exhibit Zero website. And according to the Chevrolet website, pre-orders for the Silverado EV will open up shortly thereafter -- and given the hype, I'd expect there to be a long line of people ready to reserve.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7 will end with Operation: Sky Fire live event

Fortnite's final live even, which will wrap up Chapter 2, Season 7, is on the way. Players will be able to queue up in the new playlist for the occasion, called Operation: Sky Fire, on Sunday, September 12.

This finale for the chapter and season of Fortnite marks the end of the alien saga in the popular battle royale. The event entails invading the alien mothership to deliver a message to the extraterrestrial invaders.

CES 2021 has been a source for major announcements in the smart home industry: Companies large and small announced new products, and several themes emerged throughout the conference. There are at least five major trends worth noting in the smart home world -- themes that hint at the direction devices might take over the next year.
A major focus on health tech

For obvious reasons, many of the new smart devices shown at CES 2021 are built with health in mind. Devices like Toto’s Wellness Toilet provide users with a wealth of information about their own health based on a number of external sensors that analyze both skin and waste. Both of these sources provide valuable information that can help catch potential health problems before they worsen.
