Christmas is less than a week away now, so while it’s starting to get a little late to order last-minute gifts online, it’s not too late to take advantage of deals and steals like these

Amazon, Walmart, and Target all have deals on the new Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, which is a great option for the many gamers who are increasingly ditching discs altogether and opting for online content libraries instead. Many people already do this with their music and movie libraries (as well as with PC games through services like Steam), so it was only a matter of time before consoles caught up.

The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition also comes bundled with three titles: Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and Fortnite, so you can get gaming right out of the box. It also packs a 1TB hard drive, which should give you plenty of room for your downloads. The main drawback of the All-Digital Edition is that the absence of a disc drive means you can’t use it to play your Blu-ray movies, but of course, you can still stream 4K video content to your heart’s content with services like Netflix and Hulu (so if you’re already a dedicated steamer, you’re all set).

If you gotta have that disc drive, though, then you’re not out of luck:

If you've always wanted to pick up a gaming console but have been putting it off for prices to get a bit better, now is the perfect time to pick something up. Xbox Series S 1TB -- starting at $330, was $380

The Xbox Series S is the less powerful but cheaper option out of the newest generation Xbox line. When comparing the Xbox Series S versus the Xbox Series X, the Series S takes a hit in all the component categories. That means it's not quite as fast. But if you're not hung up on getting the optimal performance out of your system, you'll actually notice very few differences. The two biggest ones are the Series S's inability to play in 8K, and its lack of a disc drive. Most people don't even have 8K TVs, so that shouldn't be an issue. If you're alright with downloading all of your games straight to the console's memory (and you have a separate DVD or Blu-Ray player), the Series S will work fine. It's quite a bit smaller anyway, and easier to fit on a shelf.
