Are you staring at your precious USB 3.0 port and thinking, “Gosh, my thumb drive just isn’t fast enough?” SuperBiiz has an answer for you: it is now offering SuperTalent’s USB 3.0 Express thumb drives in 16 GB and 32 GB capacities for $69 and $119, respectively. They drives are backward compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports, but when connected to a USB 3.0 port they can reach transfer speeds of over 125 MB/s.
“The Express Drive is an exciting addition to our growing USB 3.0 product family,’ said SuperTalent’s COO CH Lee, in a statement. “By hitting the critical balance point between performance and price, it creates a value-line USB 3.0 product offering.”
The drives feature an LED display that indicates when the drive is receiving power or is busy, and SuperTalent says the drives should retain data for over 10 years. They ship with high-speed drives compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
