“These new Dell displays are ideal for knowledge workers such as financial analysts, programmers, and photography enthusiasts,” said Dell’s general manager for displays and peripherals Steve Gluskoter, in a statement. “They will all appreciate the crisp and high quality images, the connectivity and features designed for comfort and the response time of 8ms which ensures that fast-moving multimedia content is displayed accurately.”

The displays feature DisplayPort, DVI-D, and VGA connectors along with a four-port USB 2.0 hub. The U2211H measures 21.5 inches while the U2311H stretches out to 23 inches; both offer a 1920 by 1080-pixel resolution, 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, and 1000:1 contrast ratios. The units ship with a height-adjustable tilt/pivot/swivel stand, and are Energy Star 5 rated.

The UltraSharp U2211H starts at $279, while the U2311H runs $299; both are available now in the United States, Japan, and the Asia Pacific region, and should launch in Europe on May 19.

The Dell XPS 13 is first to get a 16:10 OLED display, but there’s a catch
The Dell XPS 13 laptop, in white, with a nature scene on the screen.

The best laptop you can buy has a new, exciting feature you can purchase: A 4K OLED display. This is a first for the Dell XPS 13, which remains one of the most forward-thinking premium laptops on the market.

The new display option is a 13.4-inch panel, matching the other 16:10 screen options Dell sells. The company says this new OLED panel has a max brightness of 400 nits, a 0.65% anti-reflective coating, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Because it's OLED, of course, the screen's black levels and contrast are unbeatable. Unlike standard LED, OLED allows the individual pixels of a screen to be turned off entirely.

Designed for creative professionals and boasting rich color accuracy, Dell's new 31.5-inch UltraSharp 32 HDR PremierColor (UP3221Q) display boasts over 2,000 mini-LED backlit dimming zones on its IPS panel to bring deep blacks and bright whites. And priced at $5,000 when it goes on sale on November 5, the UltraSharp 32 HDR goes after the same creative audience that rival Apple is targeting with its ProDisplay XDR. Although both panels share a similar diagonal measurement, Apple's monitor ships with a higher 6K resolution whereas the UltraSharp comes in at 4K.

The Dell's 4K, 60Hz panel covers 99.8% of the wide DCI-P3 color space, can reach 1,000 nits of brightness, and supports the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 specification with excellent HDR quality. With Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, you can easily daisy chain two of these panels together for an even larger, more immersive digital canvas. Those who need additional color accuracy can rely on the built-in Calman Powered colorimeter for on-demand calibration.
