Mass Effect 2 will soon be receiving another DLC. The Overlord DLC is the largest expansion yet, with five new levels, two new achievements and a new story.
In the expansion pack, Commander Shepard responds to a distress call from a remote science station. When you arrive, the laboratory has gone silent, and Geth have overrun the planet. You soon discover that an experiment to fuse a human volunteer with Geth technology resulted in an AI driven hybrid called the VI Overlord. Players will fight through five new levels to stop the Overlord.
The game will cost 560 MS points ($7), and the DLC will be released for the Xbox 360 and the PC at the same time, but an official release date has not been announced.
June is shaping up to be a big month for gamers, and possibly a big month for the Xbox Live Network as well. Modern Warfare 2 will also be receiving a new map pack called the “Resurgence Pack”.
