Sometimes a lot of power in a little package is exactly the right thing, and to that end Fujitsu has just taken the wraps off its new LifeBook T730 convertible tablet PC. The T730 is a capable of functioning like a traditional notebook—and offers a 12.1-inch display—but the touch-sensitive screen swivels and flips to make the unit a true tablet PC:—and with options like Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, a dual digitizer with capacitive multi-touch screen it can be a very capable tablet.
The LifeBook T730 is available with a choice of Intel Core i5 processors (running at 2.4 or 2.5 GHz) or an Intel Core i7-620
Pricing on the LifeBook T730 starts at $1869; cranking up the options quickly puts the unit in the $3,000 range, but for a Core i7-packing small tablet computer, that’s not a bad deal.
