Biography: “LA’s up-and-coming dark rock sensation, Black Veil Brides, has set a July 20th release date for their highly anticipated debut full-length album, ‘We Stitch These Wounds’, to be released on Standby Records. Black Veil Brides will hit the road in support of ‘We Stitch These Wounds’, headlining the Hot Topic Presents: The Sacred Ceremony Tour, along with Vampires Everywhere!, Modern Day Escape, and Get Scared. The six-week trek is set to kick off in San Diego on July 2nd.
Riding the success of “Knives and Pens”, and a brief headlining tour, the band promptly headed into the studio with their manager-turned-producer, Blasko, to begin recording ‘We Stitch These Wounds’, before hitting the road again as part of the Royal Family Tour, alongside From First to Last, Eyes Set to Kill, and Confide.
The band’s continued success earned them shelf-space in Hot Topic stores nation-wide, where their merchandise has ranked as high as number two in sales. With a thriving and dedicated following of fans (The Bridesmaids), and a highly trafficked MySpace profile (averaging over 10,000 plays a day, peaking in the 9th spot on MySpace’s Top Music Charts in the ‘Metal’ category), Black Veil Brides stand out as LA’s lone breath of fresh air.”

These guys have often thought of themselves as the underdog, but at the rate the are gaining popularity, that title won’t fit much longer.

Biography: After selling 500,000 copies of their first two albums (their self-titled debut and Potter’s Field) and touring relentlessly, 12 Stones decided it was time for a break from the road. The band packed up their gear and headed back to Mississippi and Louisiana. And what did these guys do on their time off? Well, as singer Paul McCoy put it, they “grew up a lot.”
All of the guys are now fathers, and they spent a good deal of their time away from music with their families. However after a few years away from touring, McCoy says, “I really just couldn’t wait to get back to making music.”

Biography: “There was so much change in the air—all the things that people get really excited about in the ’60s. My parents were on the run from the Vietnam War and had escaped into communes in Canada where my sister and I were born. It was a crazy, adventurous time for everybody.”
Frazey Ford describes that era as “a time that had no definition,” yet its effect on her family defined so much of who she became, both as an artist and a person. Whether it was her family’s emigration to Canada in the ’70s (where Frazey was born) or exploring Asia with her mother and sister in the ’80s, Ford is a soul well traveled. Best known throughout the last 10 years as a member of the critically acclaimed Vancouver trio The Be Good Tanyas, Ford is now ready to tell her own story with a solo album she describes as being “moved by motherhood, earth and land.” Obadiah is a collection of songs hand-carved by the hardships and exaltations of life, and stained with the rich colors of soul and folk music that fueled artists like Joni Mitchell, Ann Peebles, Neil Young, and Donny Hathaway. After a period of stillness, it’s the sound of Ford finding herself once again.
