Humans cannot be trusted in this new Portal 2 trailer

When most people fire up a new co-op game with their friends, there is an unwritten checklist that the majority of us go through. First, you take a moment to acquaint yourself with the controls. You check what each button does and get a sense of the way the game moves. Then you may check the environments. If you have a gun, you may look at the wall and fire a few rounds to see how the bullet holes look in a graphical sense. Then before you get into the game, most will inevitably wander over to their teammate, possibly their best friend for decades or maybe even the best man at their wedding, and then brutally try to kill them for fun.

It happens all the time. Sometimes people do it to test to see if friendly fire will be an issue, other times it is just to see what the weapons feel like. But usually it is because it is funny to “accidentally” repeatedly melee your friend in the back of the head until they die. It is human nature.

Aperture Labs understands this, and so they have released a new video under the Portal 2 banner, explaining that human fleshbags are untrustworthy, and that by comparison, robots are the way to go.

Check out the trailer below and look for Portal 2 on PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 19.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl: release date predictions, trailers, gameplay

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the next hotly anticipated entry in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. The game is releasing over 13 years after the last entry in the series, and it's making its debut on consoles as an Xbox Series X exclusive.

Developer GSC Game World was forced to delay this title after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began and uprooted the team's lives. Despite the hardships and tragedy every member of the team no doubt suffered, and all the sacrifices they made, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was not abandoned and the team pushed on to continue developing the game.

Sam Bridges walks on a ridge in front of the moon.

There were plenty of hints along the way, and even some leaks by the leading man himself, but it was only made official at the Game Awards 2022 that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is on its way. Coming from the same influential and creative mind as the original, as well as the Metal Gear franchise before it, Hideo Kojima introduced the game himself. Of course, nothing about Kojima's games are straight forward, and what was revealed about Death Stranding 2 probably raised more questions than it answered. We're strapping on our boots, connecting to our BBs, and are ready to make the trek to find out everything there is about Death Stranding 2.

In a world where even the smallest audiences are being catered to with sequels like Neo: The World Ends With You and No More Heroes 3, there's basically no game that doesn't have a chance to come back in some form. In one of the latest examples, a small but passionate fanbase has been waiting patiently for a sequel to the very ambitious Dragon's Dogma. This action RPG came out next to some stiff competition in 2012, and despite having some great mechanics and systems plus a re-release, it never hit mainstream success. With the creator and director moving on to work on other games, this series was presumed dead for a long time.

As soon as Capcom announced that it would be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Dragon's Dogma, fans immediately predicted the announcement of a sequel. After all, why else would Capcom celebrate an anniversary for a franchise it had no intention of continuing? As it turns out, we were all correct. Dragon's Dogma 2 is finally being worked on. The excitement of this announcement has spilled out beyond the fans of the original, leading many to wonder why they should be excited about this sequel. For all that and more, here's everything we know about Dragon's Dogma 2.
