Want to know what Max Payne 3 looks like? You’re not alone. Your wish will be granted next week when Rockstar Games unleashes the trailer for its action-shooter, the latest in a series that hasn’t been seen since 2003.

The trailer is coming on September 14, next Wednesday, at 12 p.m. EST. Rockstar also confirmed earlier this week that Max Payne 3 will be out sometime in March 2012. The same press release revealed that the game will include an extensive multiplayer mode, with player progression and all of the other dangling carrots we’ve gotten used to.

The third game in the series picks up roughly a decade after the events of the previous game. Max is no longer an NYPD cop and has in fact left the country entirely for a gig protecting a wealthy family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Then some stuff happens, and Max shoots a lot of people in bullet-time. Spoiler alert?

The new game is built on Rockstar’s RAGE engine, the same one that powered the studio’s Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption. Early previews have pointed to those two games as a good barometer of what to expect on the visual side of things. That’s just fine too, considering that Rockstar’s 2008 and 2010 releases are still among this generation’s best-looking games.

NBA 2K22 Is Here, and You Can Buy Now, Pay Later with GameStop
Luka Donic will be on the cover of NBA 2K22

NBA 2K22 is finally here and it's time to tear up those courts! Of course, that's if you already have the game! If you're planning on picking it up, there are a few different editions, and a variety of places to do so, leaving some questions to answer. Which edition of the game is right for you, and what NBA 2K22 bonuses should you expect?

2K22's cover athletes include Luka Doncic, Dirk Nowitzki, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Kevin Durant, with different athletes featured for each edition. New this year, 2K says it revamped the gameplay to deliver faster, more responsive experiences for the player. There have been some significant changes to player movements, and there are more skill-based abilities to keep your offense engaged. Shooting has also been changed a bit, thanks to a new "dynamically resizing" shot window. Defensive AI has been bolstered too, hopefully, creating a more immersive and challenging experience overall. You can read more about the new features and changes on 2K's blog.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, a fantasy version of Borderlands, coming in early 2022

Gearbox and 2K revealed Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, a Borderlands spinoff adventure, at Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest on Thursday. The game features a star-studded cast, including Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, Wanda Sykes, and Ashley Burch, who will be reprising her Borderlands voice role of Tiny Tina.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a high-fantasy take on Borderlands that, according to Burch, should remind players of the Borderlands 2 DLC Assault on Dragon Keep. While the game will include elements and characters from past entries in the Borderlands franchise, it is a stand-alone title. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' announcement shouldn't come as a huge surprise, as the game's existence was leaked recently.
