How to high five in XDefiant

XDefiant
Ubisoft

XDefiant is a thrilling first-person competitive shooter that provides plenty of strategy and deadly shootouts. While you’re out there on the battlefield, your teammates will (hopefully) be giving it their all just like you. As such, there’s no better way to show your support than to give them a big high five for everything they’ve done.

Whether you’re after the “High-Fivist” trophy/achievement for giving 20 high fives, or you’re just looking to give your teammates some positive reinforcement, here’s how to give high fives in XDefiant.

How to high five in XDefiant

So, we’ve covered how giving a high five is a great way to show appreciation to a teammate for a job well done, but what if we told you that high fives in XDefiant aren’t actually, well, high fives? Strangely enough, you won’t be actually handing out high fives, but rather thumbs-up sthat are, for whatever reason, called “high fives.”

To give a high five, wait until the end of a match when all of your teammates are standing beside each other. Each teammate will have some type of achievement from the match under their names, so pick the person you think is deserving of an award and simply click on them.

When you click on your teammate, they’ll receive a thumbs-up symbol above their achievement from the match, and they’ll also receive a tiny bit of XP as a reward. Note that you can only give a high five (let’s be real: a thumbs-up) to one teammate per match, so always pick the one you think is most deserving!

Xbox reveals new digital-only consoles and a bigger Xbox Series X
Xbox consoles

Xbox has officially announced all-digital versions of the Xbox Series X and S consoles, as well as a brand new version of the Xbox Series X console that has 2TBs of harddrive space.

Last year, rumors swirled after "Project Brooklin" was leaked during the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) trial. This project talked about an all-new digital console with faster Wi-Fi, a redesign, and more. However, this announcement seems to be more in line with the traditional console cycle of releasing digital versions halfway through the lifespan rather than an entirely new project. It looks like these digital consoles are a pared-down version of the leaked project.

State of Decay 3 reemerges with a new trailer, but no release date
State of Decay 3 zombie.

During the June 2024 Xbox Games Showcase, Undead Labs showed off a new trailer for State of Decay 3. While the trailer didn't reveal a release date, it did show some new gameplay. The studio also has a new logo, representing its transition from being an indie studio to an Xbox one.

The trailer shows a desolate world filled with zombies and third-person shooter gameplay. The atmosphere feels much more fantastical and supernatural with its red hues, and is akin to Redfall rather than games with a more realistic tone like The Last of Us or Days Gone.
