Apple’s been an evangelist for education in the past, offering students and schools incentives and promotional deals over the years, and 2013 will be no different. Apple launched its new Back to School promotion, targeting students that are interested in both Mac and mobile-based devices.
Starting today, anyone who purchases a Mac will receive a free $100 App Store gift card. This promotion extends to mobile devices too, with the company offering $50 gift cards to anyone who purchases an iPhone or iPad.
This deal is only available at Apple locations, meaning you’ll have to grab your product from a brick and mortar Apple store or an Authorized Apple Campus store. You can also grab the deal direct from Apple’s website, but don’t expect to see it at third party locations like Best Buy or Staples. S
This offer is only available for college students, student’s who’ve been accepted to college, parents of university students, or a faculty or staff member from any grade level.
But you’d better hurry if you plan on getting this deal, as the promotion only runs from July 2 to September 6, 2013.
