Although Christopher Nolan’s next film, Interstellar, won’t be released until November 7, 2014, Paramount and Warner Bros. have released the first trailer for the film. Most of the trailer is filled with stock footage hinting at the history of flight leading up to space travel, but there are a few glimpses of actual film footage, and the whole thing is presented with the soothing tones of Matthew McConaughey in a voice over.

The trailer doesn’t really hint at much beyond the fact space travel is involved – something that’s backed up by, ya know, the title of the film. There are still a lot of questions revolving around the plot of Interstellar. According to the plot synopsis though, a team of scientists and explorers are sent to investigate a newly discovered wormhole connecting Earth to a different region of space. There are also said to be hints at time travel and alternate dimensions.

Interstellar stars McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Michael Caine. The script is written by Nolan and his brother Jonathan. The siblings previously worked together on The Prestige, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, and Jonathan’s short story became the basis for Momento.

Red Dead Redemption 2’s world is breathtaking in new 4K trailer for PC port
Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for the impending PC port of Red Dead Redemption 2. Not surprisingly, the new trailer highlights all the latest technical enhancements the upcoming port will bring, including the lush countryside and realistic fur textures.

The minute-long trailer does not highlight anything regarding the game's main missions. The trailer instead focuses on one of the game's most significant selling points -- a vast open world with new technical enhancements to increase your immersion. You'll be able to roam on your noble steed in the Heartlands plains, trot around the murky swamps of Lemoyne, and venture out on the cobblestone roads of Saint Denis. Even though Red Dead Redemption 2 has been out for nearly a year, Rockstar Games successfully manages to keep the game fresh for all players.

The news is an out of left field reveal. The first Volgarr the Viking game released in 2013 and was made as an ode to 1080s classics like Ghosts 'n Goblins. Despite being a small release, it sold over 1 million copies over the past decade. As revealed during today's Guerrilla Collective stream, the series is coming back with a new sequel by Digital Eclipse, the team behind this year's Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story.
