Next month, Marvel and ABC are joining forces to air a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Marvel movies currently in production, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Avengers: Age of Ultron, according to EW. The hour-long event will discuss the making of each film, and give us our first look at the eagerly anticipated Avengers sequel.

The event is described as “front row seat to the inception of Marvel Studios, the record-breaking films, the cultural phenomenon, and further expansion of the universe by Marvel Television.”

A Marvel event like this airing on ABC is no surprise, and we’ll likely see more of it in the future, since both companies are owned by Disney. The timing is no doubt partly an effort to help raise the profile of Marvel and ABC’s series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which has seen its audience steadily decrease following a huge debut (although recent viewership is on a slight uptick).

The event, titled, Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe, will air on Tuesday, March 18 at 8 p.m. EST. It will then be followed by an as yet unannounced episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel’s Avengers War for Wakanda expansion launches in August
Black Panther in War for Wakanda.

After being shown multiple times without a release date, Square Enix quietly announced a release date for Marvel's Avengers War for Wakanda expansion. The DLC, which adds Black Panther to the game's burgeoning roster of superheroes, is set to launch on August 17.

Having been shown a few times already, we know a decent bit about War for Wakanda before it officially releases. Besides adding Black Panther as a playable character, the expansion will add new modes, events, and costumes. According to a press release announcing the expansion's release date, War for Wakanda will add upwards of 25 hours of single-player content.

Bug in latest Marvel’s Avengers update displays player IP addresses on screen
marvels avengers update ip addresses marvel s

A bug in the latest patch for Marvel's Avengers is compromising the online safety of its players by displaying their IP addresses on their screen.

The bug, shown in action by Forbes reporter Paul Tassi on Twitter, displays IP addresses at the bottom of the screen, along with the date, time, and, presumably, the player's username. At the moment, it is not clear if players can see the IP addresses of other people they're playing with or if only their information is displayed. Regardless, the bug means that streaming the game as it is right now is extremely dangerous, opening creators up to online attacks or doxxing.

New Kate Bishop DLC not enough to rescue Marvel’s Avengers from its problems
kate bishop taking aim avengers dlc review superadaptoid 001 v1

Returning to Marvel's Avengers after some time away, I was hoping that the title's biggest update since its launch would change the tide of the game. Unfortunately, despite the addition of new hero Kate Bishop, it's only more of the same.

On one hand, that's not necessarily a bad thing considering that Kate Bishop herself is incredibly fun and unique to play as. However, the game itself remains a buggy mess after the update, and there are still minute quality-of-life fixes that are missing and have me rolling my eyes in disbelief.
