zCover Announces iPhone 3G iSAGlove Cases

Once the iPhone 3G launched, it was inevitable that a raft of peripherals and accessors for Apple’s latest mobile phone would flood the market. Among the new products for the iPhone 3G are new iSAglove cases from zCover, a new version of the case that took home the Macworld’s Best iPhone Accessory award for 2008.

“As we anticipated, the iPhone 3G’s sophisticated and slim compact design required precise molding and tooling to create the ideal contoured case for iPhone 3G,” said zCover VP Sean Sa, in a statement. “zCover finalized our tooling until we got a real active Apple iPhone 3G.”

The new iPhone 3G cases are available in black, grey, and clear colors—although zCover’s Web site also seems to offer pink, purple, green, and white—and feature a port flip-cover so users can charge or dock their iPhones without removing the case. The cases have also been pre-tooled for the iPhone 3G’s new sensors, offer protection for the sleep/wake button, and sport a die-cut for easy access to the silent/ring switch.

The retail packs are available for $29.99 and include a clear film for protecting the iPhone display along with a microfiber cleaning cloth.
