Amex Digital Photo Frames Multitask

Amex Digital Photo Frames Multitask

You don’t need to look any further than iRiver’s Home or Verizon’s Hub to realize that frames that only show photos are disappearing. But in between a dumbed-down display and a full-fledged mini computer, Amex Digital has introduced two new digital photo frames that throw in just a sprinkling of extras.

The SR-7 and SW-7 both feature seven-inch displays with a smattering of other data. The SR-7 gets a thermometer, radio-controlled clock, alarm and calendar, while the SW-7 is more of a weather station, with the same features, plus the ability to link to up to five wireless thermometers, predict pressure trends based on an internal barometer, and display sunrise and sunset times based on location.

Both frames are available immediately, with the SR-7 prices at $129 and the SW-7 at $139.
