The confirmation came via Twitter, with Pratt responding to a fan’s image of an over-excited child dealing with the idea of Pratt playing the hero of the weird series by writing “YES! But who is our director? That is the question. Who do u think it should be?” You can see the tweet — and Pratt’s response — below:

First published in 2009, the Cowboy Ninja Viking series created by A.J. Lieberman and Riley Rossmo follows one of the last remaining members of a counter-intelligence unit composed of individuals suffering from multiple-personality disorder, all of whose individual personalities have been modified to take the form of various dangerous archetypes in order to make them effective (and deadly) agents. When the unit is disbanded, the “Triplets” are put into service as hired assassins, and one of their own, an agent whose personalities include a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking, is tasked with tracking them down.
World War Z and Quantum Of Solace Marc Forster director was originally attached to helm Cowboy Ninja Viking, which already has a script from Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, but he’ apparently no longer involved with the project.
There’s no release date set for the film yet.
