Mortal Kombat XL coming to PS4, Xbox One in March

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that its gory one-on-one fighter Mortal Kombat X will return to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in a package that collects all previously released DLC and bonus content.

The retitled Mortal Kombat XL is slated to launch this March in North America and Europe.

Released last year, Mortal Kombat X is the tenth entry in developer NetherRealm Studios’ long-running fighting game franchise. Featuring dozens of playable characters, Mortal Kombat X doubled down on the series’ focus on blood and gore with brutal mid-match X-Ray moves and multiple over-the-top Fatalities.

Mortal Kombat XL includes all bonus content featured in the downloadable Kombat Pack and Kombat Pack 2 add-ons, along with the core Mortal Kombat X game. Notably, the first Kombat Pack adds slasher film star Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th film franchise as a playable character.

Last year’s Kombat Pack also introduced the Predator to the game’s playable roster, along with two returning fighters from previous entries in the series: Mortal Kombat 4‘s Tanya and Tremor from Mortal Kombat: Special Forces.

Kombat Pack 2, which has not yet launched as a standalone download, adds four more characters to Mortal Kombat X‘s roster, including Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series and the Xenomorph featured in the 1979 movie Alien and its sequels. Other planned additions include Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance‘s Bo’ Rai Cho and Triborg, an all-new character that boasts the combined strength of Mortal Kombat 3‘s cyborgs Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke.

Both packs also include a collection of exclusive character skins, many of which are inspired by past entries in the Mortal Kombat series.

Mortal Kombat XL will make its debut digitally and at retail for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America on March 1, 2016. A European release will follow on March 4.

One Piece Odyssey - Announcement Trailer
While we know that One Piece Odyssey will be a JRPG with quests, dungeons, and turn-based combat. A developer interview video shows some footage of Luffy exploring One Piece Odyssey's world and solving an environmental puzzle in a dungeon.
The announcement also confirms that ILCA, the developer of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, is the primary developer of this game. In the aforementioned interview video, producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki also confirmed that One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda advised the development team on the project and even provided art for the characters and enemies.
A message from Oda also appears at the start of the announcement trailer, and he certainly seems quite excited about the project. "I thought to myself, wasn't it like three years ago when I designed the characters?!" he said, revealing how long One Piece Odyssey has been in development. "But when I actually saw the game ... wow! It felt like I was watching a movie! What incredible immersion."
One Piece Odyssey will be released for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S later in 2022.

Lost Judgment gets a surprisingly big expansion this month
lost judgment kaito files dlc release date young in the

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio confirmed that The Kaito Files, Lost Judgment's story expansion starring Yagami's brawny sidekick, Kaito, will finally release on March 28.
Like Kaito, this expansion is beefy. Sega revealed that The Kaito Files will contain four chapters of new content. Within that, players will experience the new Bruiser and Tank fighting styles exclusive to Kaito, as well as "Primal Focus" techniques where Kaito uses his heightened senses of smell, sight, and hearing to investigate certain crime scenes. It seems like The Kaito Files might be one of the densest expansions to grace any RGG Studio game.

The Kaito Files' story takes place after the events of Lost Judgment. In it, Kaito searches for a missing ex named Mikiko in Kamurocho with someone claiming to be his son. In classic Yakuza fashion, tensions escalate and bombastic fights against Japan's toughest criminals ensue. Considering that most of Lost Judgment's main story took place in Injincho, trotting around Kamurocho will be a welcome change of pace.
To access this DLC, players will need to own Lost Judgment already. Those who want to purchase just The Kaito Files will need to pay $30, half the price of the full game. Alternatively, players can pick up the $90 Ultimate Edition of the game and get access to this expansion as well as the Detective Essentials Pack and School Stories Expansion Pack DLC.
Like Lost Judgment, The Kaito Files will be available across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S when it launches on March 28, 2022.

In a company interview with CEO Yves Guillemot posted on the Ubisoft website Thursday, the executive reveals that there are remakes of Assassin's Creed games in the works, although he doesn't specify which ones.

"Players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we've created in the past and modernize them," he says, implying that it could pertain to games made before Odyssey. "There are worlds in some of our older Assassin's Creed games that are still extremely rich."
