Tommy Hilfiger is one-upping the relationship between fashion and technology by offering Apple Watch users VIP treatment to his upcoming New York Fashion Week show, according to Racked.

In collaboration with Fashion GPS Radar, the apparel brand is reportedly offering faster access to the show for anyone wearing an Apple Watch, who will be able to enter with a simple swipe of the wrist. Not everyone is guaranteed entry — you will have to install the GPS Radar app on the watch to get an invite. The GPS Radar app lets you RSVP to events and view the Fashion Week calendar. It flashes a QR code on the interface to let you check in, making it a convenient way to avoid the chaos (hopefully).

The iPhone version of the app is home to how Fashion Week participants track down their RSVPs. Now, Apple Watch users have that advantage thanks to the smartwatch support update. In addition to checking in at Hilfiger’s event, anyone will be able to use their watch to reserve their spot during Paris, London, and Milan’s fashion week.

Tommy Hilfiger is the first fashion line to offer Apple Watch benefits of this kind. Since the smartwatch’s release in 2015, Apple has pushed the product into the fashion spotlight. The watch has been seen across numerous magazine spreads, celebrity endorsements, and even behind displays during last year’s Paris Fashion Week.

Just recently, Apple released its Hermes collection online after limited retail availability. Rumor has it that Tim Cook will introduce new watch band options during Apple’s upcoming press event in March, along with new customization options and possible partnerships with other fashion brands. Fashion GPS Radar is available for free at the App Store and it is only compatible with iPhone and Apple Watch devices.

Razer Anzu smart glasses deal knocks $140 off the price tag
The Razer Anzu smart glasses placed on top of an open book.

While smartwatch deals have slowly claimed their place in the mainstream, smart glasses haven't turned out to be as popular. Gaming-focused brand Razer, however, is trying to renew interest in smart glasses with the Razer Anzu, which you can currently purchase from Best Buy at $140 off. If you'd like to give them a try, they're available for just $60, less than half their original price of $200.

There have been failures like the Google Glass and Snap Spectacles, and hopeful attempts like Oppo's Air Glass and Apple's secretive project, but the Razer Anzu smart glasses take a different spin on the wearable device by designing them for indoors. While they come with polarized sunglass lenses, their clear lenses are more useful with their blue light filter, which protects your eyes from screen glare to prevent discomfort even after hours of playing video games or working from home. The smart glasses, which also have a built-in omnidirectional microphone and speakers, may also be more comfortable to wear for an extended period of time compared to headsets and headphones. You'll enjoy smooth, stutter-free sound with the Razer Anzu's low latency audio with a 60ms Bluetooth connection.
