At this year’s Mobile World Congress, Samsung took the stage to show its latest vision in cutting-edge technology for Android smartphones. The mouth-watering devices each feature waterproofing, tons of space, and bigger batteries than ever before. Now, the two gorgeous phones are finally available to buy in stores in the U.S., Europe, Australia, Singapore, and South Korea.

We know you may be itching to get one yourself, so here’s our complete guide to getting your very own Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge come with 32GB of internal storage in the U.S. However, the MicroSD slot means that you add up to an additional 200GB if you wish. The Galaxy S7 comes in both black and gold, and the S7 Edge comes in black, gold, and silver.

Unlike Apple, which has 268 retail stores all across the United States, Samsung’s most prominent American retail presence is in its “Samsung Zone” locations, dotted across many Best Buy locations. However, this isn’t stopping Samsung from featuring the S7 on its website.

For those who want to check out the phone before putting their money down, Samsung has preview versions available for viewing at its Samsung Zone locations. The retail prices are between $620 and $695 for the S7 and between $720 and $795 for the S7 Edge, depending on your carrier.

Samsung is also giving away a free Gear VR along with a six-game bundle when you purchase either the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. You’ll have to claim your gift through Samsung’s promotional site and wait about four to six weeks to receive it.

Verizon

If you’re a fan of Big Red, you’ll get a free Gear VR or Gear S2 with the purchase of either a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. If you’re switching from another carrier, Verizon will cover your termination fees.

The Galaxy S7 will run you $672 or $28 per month for 24 months, and the S7 Edge costs $792 or $33 per month for 24 months.

AT&T

AT&T customers who buy the S7 or the S7 Edge will get a free Gear VR and 6 game bundle with the purchase of either phone. Unfortunately, AT&T happens to be the most expensive of all the U.S. carriers.

The Galaxy S7 costs $695 or $23.17 per month for 30 months, and the S7 Edge goes for $795 or $26.50 per month for 30 months.

Order the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge now from:

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering a free Gear VR and a year of Netflix with every order. As always, T-Mobile continues to pay termination fees and other perks for any customer who chooses to jump from any carrier to the John Legere fan club.

The Galaxy S7 costs $670 or $27.92 per month for 24 months, and the S7 Edge is $780 or $32.50 for 24 months.

Sprint

Sprint might be the fourth largest carrier, but it has the best deals for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Just like the other carriers, you get a free Gear VR with your purchase.

You can opt for the new Galaxy Forever much like its own iPhone Forever, giving customers the latest and greatest smartphone every year for a single monthly fee on the basis of a leasing program. If you opt for the lease, then you pay $26 per month for the S7 and $30.50 per month for the S7 Edge over 24 months.

If you don’t want the leasing program, the Galaxy S7 will cost $650 or $27.09 for 24 months, and the S7 Edge will set you back $750 or $31.35 per month for 24 months.

If you’re still hung up on buying a new phone on contract, Sprint has you covered. You can grab the Galaxy S7 for $200 or the S7 Edge for $300. Keep in mind that you’ll also pay an additional $25 per month for your monthly access charge.

As a further incentive, you get a 50 percent discount when you buy a second Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. The deal works when you buy two Galaxy S7s, two Galaxy S7 Edges, or one Galaxy S7 and one Galaxy S7 Edge.

If that isn’t enough of a incentive, Sprint will chop your existing bill in half and take care of your termination fees if you switch carriers.

U.S. Cellular

U.S. cellular has the best price if you can afford to pay for your phone in full. The Galaxy S7 costs only $620, and the S7 Edge goes for $720. If you need an installment plan, then it will run you $672 or $28 per month for 24 months for the Galaxy S7 and $720 or $32.50 per month for 24 months for the S7 Edge.

You can also grab the S7 or S7 Edge on a two-year contract for $200 and $300 respectively.

Just like the other carriers, you’re purchase means you’ll be eligible for a free Gear VR as well.

Best Buy

Best Buy carries the AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon carrier versions of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. As a further incentive to buy your shiny new phone from Best Buy instead of directly from your carrier, the retailer is offering a free 64GB MicroSD card with your purchase. That’s in addition to the free Gear VR offer.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are available at a number of other retail stores as well, including Target, Staples, Walmart, and others. Just as you’d expect with a flagship like the Samsung Galaxy line, it will make its way everywhere in the coming weeks.

Whichever avenue you choose to buy the galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, best of luck in deciding which of these top-notch gadgets ends up being right for you.

AT&T just made it a lot easier to upgrade your phone
AT&T Storefront with logo.

Do you want to upgrade your phone more than once a year? What about three times a year? Are you on AT&T? If you answered yes to those questions, then AT&T’s new “Next Up Anytime” early upgrade program is made for you. With this add-on, you’ll be able to upgrade your phone three times a year for just $10 extra every month. It will be available starting July 16.

Currently, AT&T has its “Next Up” add-on, which has been available for the past several years. This program costs $6 extra per month and lets you upgrade by trading in your existing phone after at least half of it is paid off. But the new Next Up Anytime option gives you some more flexibility.

The Nokia 3210 is the worst phone I’ve used in 2024
A person holding the Nokia 3210, showing the screen.

Where do I even start with the Nokia 3210? Not the original, which was one of the coolest phones to own back in a time when Star Wars: Episode 1 -- The Phantom Menace wasn’t even a thing, but the latest 2024 reissue that has come along to save us all from digital overload, the horror of social media, and the endless distraction that is the modern smartphone.

Except behind this facade of marketing-friendly do-goodery hides a weapon of torture, a device so foul that I’d rather sit through multiple showings of Jar Jar Binks and the gang hopelessly trying to bring back the magic of A New Hope than use it.
The Nokia 3210 really is that bad
