Smart garment company Sensoria struck up a partnership with MyZone, a fitness tracking company whose app acts as a personal fitness coach, rating workouts and progress over time.
The goal is to help MyZone expand its smart garment lineup, and the first products to come from the partnership will be the MyZone Powered by Sensoria T-Shirt and the MyZone Powered by Sensoria Sports Bra.

Basically, the partnership brings together the clothing from Sensoria with the apps, fitness coaching, and tracking module from MyZone.
“We are thrilled to partner with MyZone so we can enable a seamless training experience for cardio fitness enthusiasts,” said Davide Vigano, CEO of Sensoria, in a statement emailed to Digital Trends. “We’re working with MyZone to increase convenience, color, style, precision, and comfort for athletes across all levels and activities.”
The products from Sensoria and MyZone work together in a way that offers real-time feedback on your performance, allowing you to then take a look at your stats post-workout, and tweak your sessions to optimize your time in the gym.
The module provided by MyZone houses both the Bluetooth radio and an ANT+ heart rate monitor, and it snaps on the front of the bra during workouts, coming off when it’s then time to put the bra in the washing machine. As far as the t-shirt goes, the sensor is embedded directly in the shirt design. This kind of chest monitoring, of course, can offer a much more accurate reading of your heart rate compared to devices like smartwatches. For many, the difference will be negligible, however for those that spend a lot of time working on health and fitness, accuracy can be extremely important.
Altogether, the companies are developing sports bras with medium to high support, and a t-shirt for men. When the products are finalized, they will be released in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and in the U.K.
