RhinoShield promises military grade drop protection that will keep your HTC 10 safe from drops up to 11 feet, and possibly beyond. It’s chunky, but it’s very light and it can be used in conjunction with screen protectors. There are generous openings for the ports, but the button covers are a bit stiff. It comes in black or white.

It’s a tried and tested combination of shock absorbent TPU on the inside and polycarbonate on the outside for Seidio. The outer layer comes in two parts and includes a kickstand for propping your HTC 10 in landscape view. It can be slotted away when not in use and stays put magnetically. There are openings for the camera and ports, and you’ll find tactile button covers on the side. This is a tough case and it comes in gold, red, or black.
Terrapin Ultra Slim Case ($8)
Want something basic that won’t cost much? This slim Terrapin case is about as minimal as you can get. No logos or superfluous details here. It’s a tough, polycarbonate shell with a soft touch finish that’s comfortable to hold. There are cutouts for the camera, ports, and the buttons. This case should keep the back of the HTC 10 safe from scratches and it adds some grip, but it’s not really going to provide much in the way of drop protection.

It also extends beyond the screen at the front and beyond the protruding camera lens on the back, so your HTC 10 is protected from every angle.

This is a really solid protective case that’s ideal if you fear drop damage. The inner layer is malleable TPE and there’s a tough polycarbonate shell that slots on top. You’ll find chunky button covers with good travel, and accurate cut-outs for your camera, ports, and other functions. The inner layer comes in either charcoal or black, and you can get contrasting shells in black, red, cyan, or pink. The case also has a soft-touch finish that feels nice and imbues your phone with some additional grip. There’s also a raised bezel that lines the screen to protect it.

You’ll still be able to appreciate the design of your HTC 10 with this clear case from Speck. The sleek offering provides military-grade drop protection, thanks to a hard outer shell and an absorbent inner layer. It’s a comfortable case to hold and it adds some grip. The cut-outs are accurate and you’ll find solid, responsive button covers on the sides. Some clear cases can stain or yellow over time, but thankfully, the CandyShell Clear is resistant to UV yellowing.
