Keyever's Windows 10 smartphone shocks the world by including a physical keyboard

Keyever hasn’t finalized its rear camera, which is why the camera is pixelated in the company’s renders. Strangely enough, Keyever’s Windows 10 handset will pack a diminutive 3.5-inch, 960 x 540 resolution touchscreen, numbers that are rather foreign in today’s world of gargantuan smartphones with retina-searing resolutions.

There is a reason for the smartphone having such a small display, however: Keyever’s Windows 10 smartphone also packs a physical keyboard, making it the first Windows 10 smartphone to do so. More specifically, the keyboard is one of those old-school T9 keyboards, which means you’ll be pressing the same button more than once just to get to the letter you’re looking for. According to the report, Keyever will consider a version of the smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard, though no final decision has been made.

As alluded to earlier, Keyever aims to release its unnamed Windows 10 smartphone sometime during the third quarter with a 1,000 yuan (or $155) price tag. The screen will likely be too cramped for many, and having a numeric keypad in 2016 is unheard of, but seeing how the handset seems to want to occupy a incredibly small niche, all of that doesn’t really matter. We expect Keyever to release more information on its handset as it gets closer to release.
