The Unstainable Workwear Collection is well beyond its $40,000 goal and closing in on $150,000, but it’s fast approaching the end of its Kickstarter campaign. If you’re interested, you should snag a piece of unstainable clothing now.
The idea has drawn a lot of interest for its combination of traditional and innovative styling options, with practical technological advancements that eliminate many problems with traditional clothing. Stains from wine, coffee, and sweat are a real hassle, and this tech ensures that the liquid just rolls right off, or, in the case of sweat, doesn’t absorb into the fabric.
Building off of its successful campaign for the Unstainable Shirt, this new range is aimed at providing an expansive range of workwear clothing for women. This collection offers dresses, pants, and jackets — all made with the same machine washable materials. While unstainable shirt was made with Crepe de Chine and the company’s tees are a blend of cotton and modal, the workwear collection uses Ponte de Roma knit. A finishing treatment is used to make the clothing unstinable. The inner lining is cupro treated with Sweat-Proof technology.
The collection is designed to mix and match, so putting together an outfit in the morning should be much easier, too.
As much as all of the extra pockets, buttons, and high-quality materials used in their design are great additions, the big selling point is of course the sweat and stain-proof guarantee. The clothes works by combining a breathable, absorbent fabric with a sweat-proof lining that eliminates odors, while funneling sweat and other liquids to the central fabric. There, that spill van evaporate without leaving a stain, keeping you feeling and looking dry — even in the most stressful situations.
If you like the look of everything in the campaign, you can grab the entire collection for $360. Of course, as with all Kickstarter campaigns, there is a short wait for them to arrive. Shipping is slated for November this year, though we would always urge caution, as there is some precedent for campaigns running a little behind schedule.
If you don’t want to spend quite that much, though, there are individual options, starting at $80 a pop, which let you pick and choose which pieces you like. There is also a $10,000 option, which will net you the entire range in six different color options, as well as custom fitting to your exact measurements at a professional facility in New York City.
