Back in March we brought you some lowlight photos of the interior of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class interior. Though it gave us a limited glimpse at some of the details, it didn’t give us the full story.

These three newly leaked photos (by way of Leftlane News) of the all-new S-Class, while still limited, do give us a better look at the fit, finish, and details.

Looking at the dash, there are some distinctive features we’re frankly surprised to see. Just as we had seen back in March, two 12.3-inch screens take up much of the dash space. One in place of the instrument cluster with fully customizable displays and the other used as an infotainment screen, which can be controlled by the passengers.

Surrounding these wondrous looking screens is a much more stylistic dash. Round air vents and a two-spoke steering wheel hearken back to Mercedes of the 1960s and ‘70s.

The interior lines, it would seem, are nicely paired with the exterior design, which is far less blocky and bland as the last iteration and far more stylistic with muscular lines.

Since Mercedes did away with the Maybach brand, it had to step up the S-Class’ game to fill the luxury gap. Even with this limited look, we’ll say it’s done the job quite nicely. Make sure to note our dorky German friend here in the reclining backseat. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class isn’t just for driving anymore. With massaging, reclining, and heated and cooled rear seats, the S-Class is also for those who wish to be driven around.

The official debut of the S-Class is set for later this year in Germany. So check back soon for more details as they become available.
