Whether you’re raiding tombs, escaping from dinosaurs, or just plain exploring, there’s probably a Jeep Wrangler for you. The American brand is showcasing a plethora of new and special-edition models at this year’s Paris Motor Show, and first up is a cloak-and-dagger Wrangler.
The product of a joint venture between Jeep, Mopar, and Centro Stile, the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon ‘Stealth’ show car is on display in Paris this week. The sly one-off wears a variety of off-roading gadgets, such as strengthened Rubicon bumpers, rock rails, a raised ride kit, 17-inch rims with 37-inch rubber, and an LED light bar.

On the show car end, the Wrangler is equipped with wide fender flares, an ‘Iron Peltrox Iron’ textured black paint job, and vintage-style leather seats.
The Stealth is powered by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel that generates 200 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque.
For the enthusiast who prefers the dragstrip to the mud pit, Jeep also announced a special ‘Red Vapor’ edition of its Grand Cherokee SRT. Already the fastest and most powerful Jeep ever, the Red Vapor features a few subtle upgrades in aesthetics.
The most noticeable improvement is the set of not-so-subtle ‘Goliath’ wheels, which measure 20 inches and are finished in slick black chrome. In addition, the Grand Cherokee’s body is littered with red and chrome details and badges.
Jeep is also using the event to showcase its new Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology, which also comes standard on the normal car. Using microphones and speakers, the vehicle’s sound system mutes road noise and amplifies the beefy soundtrack of the 6.4-liter Hemi V8.
The engine produces 468 hp and 460 lb/ft of torque in the big SUV, which allows for a 0 to 60 mph time of just 5.0 seconds.
