The Amazon Echo Show 8 is a pretty great, all-around-the-house smart screen that’s especially useful in places like the kitchen or the bedroom. It has an 8-inch screen that runs a 960 x 480 resolution, which is a bit on the lower side, but that’s fine for what it’s made for. The sound is pretty excellent, too, for such a small size, and with support for most streaming apps, you can listen to your music or watch a show or movie pretty much anywhere you’d like. The Apple iPad (9th Gen) will still receive the iPadOS 18 update later this year, so it’s far from being obsolete.
