Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the third sequel to a game many consider to be among the best of all time, and early critical response suggests that it lives up to its strong pedigree. Now, AMD has shared some pertinent technical information for players who intend to experience the title on PC.

A patch set to be released in the next few weeks will apparently add DirectX 12 support to Mankind Divided. This will help players with particularly formidable computers to attain the best performance possible — Prague should really pop as you load up on augs and set about taking down techno-terrorists.

DirectX 12 is able to tap into all the cores of a multi-core CPU simultaneously. Its multi-threaded command buffer makes sure that your system’s graphics card is taking on as much work as it can handle, and that the work is done as quickly as possible.

What this means to the player is reduced latency and more frames per second. DirectX 12 utilizes all the horsepower of a processor with six or eight cores, resulting in tangible improvements to performance during gameplay.

AMD has also announced that Mankind Divided is set to be bundled with certain models of its processors. Consumers who purchase any of the company’s six or eight core processors from participating retailers will also receive a free copy of the game.

Set two years after 2011’s Human Revolution, but decades before the first two games in the series, Mankind Divided returns players to the role of cyborg Adam Jensen. The Digital Trends review of the latest installment praised its presentation, narrative, and the role of player agency in its gameplay systems, while noting that its social commentary fell short of the mark.

The AMD promotion runs until November 14, 2016 — more information, including details regarding the retailers taking part, is available from the company’s website. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

How to set an ‘Out of Office’ message in Microsoft Teams
Person using Windows 11 laptop on their lap by the window.

Many people use Microsoft Teams regularly to communicate with colleagues both inside of the office and remotely. It is considered one of the most efficient ways to ensure you can stay in contact with the people on your team, but what if you need to let people know you’re not readily available? Microsoft Teams has a method for you to set up an "Out of Office" status for your profile to let staff members know when you’ll be gone for the afternoon, for several days on vacation, or for an extended period.
Where do I go to set up my ‘Out of Office’ status for Teams?
It is important to note that your Microsoft Teams and Outlook calendars are synced. This includes your out-of-office status and automatic replies. So, whatever you set up in Microsoft Teams will reflect in Outlook. Similarly, you can set up your out-of-office status in Outlook, and it will be reflected in Teams; however, the former has a more straightforward instruction.

First, you can click on your profile icon in Teams and go directly to Schedule an out of office, as a shortcut. This will take you to the settings area where you can proceed. You can also click the three-dot icon next to your profile icon, then go to Settings > General, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you'll find out-of-office settings and click Schedule.
