ATI Radeon HD 4770 Graphics Card Features 40nm Technology

AMD‘s ATI graphics group continues to churn out graphics systems, with the latest editing to their ATI Radeon HD 4000 series being the HD 4770, which features support for DirectX 10.1 games, high-definition video playback, HDMI output, and picture-in-picture capabilities. And, if users want more graphics power, the HD 4770 supports ATI CrossFireX for adding a second HD 4770 card to increase performance. And prices for the HD 4770 start as low as $99.

“Consumer pressure in this economic downturn is shifting demand to lower prices and the price band around $100 has the highest demand and highest volume,” said ATI senior VP and graphics product group general manager Rick Bergman, in a statement. AMD has responded with the launch of the ATI Radeon HD 4770, targeting this market with cutting-edge technologies like 40 nm processors, support for DirectX 10.1 gaming, and GDDR5 memory. This strategy stands in stark contrast to the old ‘trickle down’ technology approach some still use to address this important segment.”

The Radeon HD 4770 use a PCI Express ×16 interface and sports 640 streaming processing units, support for high resolution textures (up to 8,192 by 8,192 pixels), multi-sample antialiasing, OpenGL 3.0 support, and AMD’s Unified Video Decoder 2.0 for playback of MEG-2, H.264/AVC, VC-1, and other high-definition video formats. The card features two integrated DVi display outputs, DisplayPort and HDMI output support, and an integrated HDTV encoder.

The ATI Radeon HD 4770 carries a suggested price of $109, but should ship with a limited time $10 mail-in rebate, bringing the total cost under $100.

How to set an ‘Out of Office’ message in Microsoft Teams

Many people use Microsoft Teams regularly to communicate with colleagues both inside of the office and remotely. It is considered one of the most efficient ways to ensure you can stay in contact with the people on your team, but what if you need to let people know you’re not readily available? Microsoft Teams has a method for you to set up an "Out of Office" status for your profile to let staff members know when you’ll be gone for the afternoon, for several days on vacation, or for an extended period.
Where do I go to set up my ‘Out of Office’ status for Teams?
It is important to note that your Microsoft Teams and Outlook calendars are synced. This includes your out-of-office status and automatic replies. So, whatever you set up in Microsoft Teams will reflect in Outlook. Similarly, you can set up your out-of-office status in Outlook, and it will be reflected in Teams; however, the former has a more straightforward instruction.

First, you can click on your profile icon in Teams and go directly to Schedule an out of office, as a shortcut. This will take you to the settings area where you can proceed. You can also click the three-dot icon next to your profile icon, then go to Settings > General, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you'll find out-of-office settings and click Schedule.
