eMachines Updates Desktop Line

It’s amazing how low in price desktop PC’s can be. eMachines is launching three new systems today priced $349.99 to $519.99 after either mail-in-rebate or instant rebate. The new systems will feature Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, DVD writers and media card readers. The higher-end (if you want to call it high-end) model T5212 will come with an Intel Pentium D processor. LCD monitors do not appear to be included for this price. System Specs are listed below:

Some updates coming to macOS 15 aren’t just about AI
Apple's 15-inch MacBook Air on a desk, with macOS Sonoma running on its display.

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is coming up soon, and everyone's expecting a huge announcement around AI. But don't worry, according to a report from AppleInsider, there are some practical tweaks coming to macOS 15 that are in the works. Notably, the System Settings app is set to receive the biggest changes, with other menus and app UIs also expecting some rearranging.

The last update to the Settings app happened with macOS Ventura, changing the name from System Preferences to System Settings and shifting to an iOS-style design, a change that ruffled the feathers of diehard Mac users. This time, the organizational system will reportedly be based on "priority and overall importance."

Save $450 on this Dell XPS desktop PC with an RTX 4060 Ti

While Dell makes some of the best laptops on the market, especially under the Alienware brand, it also has some of the best desktops as well. Interestingly, while the XPS lineup of laptops is known as being Dell's answer to the MacBook, Dell also has XPS desktops that you can grab, and they're actually pretty good. In fact, this Dell XPS desktop configuration is being discounted directly by Dell, bringing the price down to $1,100 from its usual $1,550, which is a very substantial $450 discount.

Why you should buy the Dell XPS Desktop
While the Dell XPS Desktop doesn't quite look like a gaming PC, it does come with an RTX 4060 Ti, which, admittedly, is an entry-level gaming GPU, and that's a good option for 1080p gaming. It will be able to hit around 100 frames at that resolution, although there may be some slight compromises with graphical settings here and there. Even so, that's still an excellent inclusion for the price you're getting, and if you already have a 1080p monitor, you won't have to change, which is probably the biggest positive.

It’s that time of year again, and Microsoft is making various announcements regarding Copilot at its annual Build developer conference. As expected, AI is a massive part of what’s being said, just like last year.

Perhaps the biggest announcement in that regard was that GPT-4o was already live in Azure AI and would soon be coming to Copilot. It was mentioned as part of the Copilot+ press event yesterday, but not much information was provided, aside from the Minecraft tutorial demo.
