Did you unwrap a shiny new Xbox Series X this Christmas morning? Considering how hard it’s been to get a hold of one of the newest generation consoles, you should count yourself as one of the lucky few. Now it’s time to get all the bells and whistles to complete the perfect gaming setup. If you frequently play with friends (or want to trash talk your enemies), you’ll need a nice gaming headset deal. You’re in luck again – Best Buy has knocked $50 off the Astro Gaming A40 TR Wired gaming headset. You can get this Xbox Series X compatible headset for only $200. Check it out below.

This wired headset works perfectly with both the Xbox Series X and Series S. It even works with the Xbox One, so you can use it on your old console while you wait for your new one. It also works on PC and Mac. This Astro A40 TR deal’s most unique feature is the accompanying mixer. Plug your headset into this mixer lets you adjust your master volume and how loud your voice is compared to the in-game sound. If you’re a streamer, this is essential. You don’t want your voice to get covered up by every gun fired in Call of Duty. You can use the accompanying software for even more sound customization options.

This is a comfy headset, perfect for marathoning games or hosting long streaming sessions. The ear cups are well-padded and adjustable, moving up and down and also pivoting. They’re fully ready for tournament play. Optional speaker tags will dampen noise bleed, so the player next to you can’t hear your team’s callouts. You can even swap the microphone to either side. The high-quality sound will give you an edge over players using cheap gaming headsets. Astro Gaming has previously made our list of best gaming headsets of 2020.

If you've always wanted to pick up a gaming console but have been putting it off for prices to get a bit better, now is the perfect time to pick something up. With many great Xbox Series S and X deals, PlayStation 5 deals, and Nintendo Switch deals to pick from, you can grab something for a relatively cheap price. To that end, we've gone out and collected some of our favorite deals below, including both new and refurbished options where available.
Xbox Series S 1TB -- starting at $330, was $380

The Xbox Series S is the less powerful but cheaper option out of the newest generation Xbox line. When comparing the Xbox Series S versus the Xbox Series X, the Series S takes a hit in all the component categories. That means it's not quite as fast. But if you're not hung up on getting the optimal performance out of your system, you'll actually notice very few differences. The two biggest ones are the Series S's inability to play in 8K, and its lack of a disc drive. Most people don't even have 8K TVs, so that shouldn't be an issue. If you're alright with downloading all of your games straight to the console's memory (and you have a separate DVD or Blu-Ray player), the Series S will work fine. It's quite a bit smaller anyway, and easier to fit on a shelf.

Xbox Series X on a table.

The Xbox Series X, Microsoft's current-generation video game console, is a powerful machine that will meet the needs of even the most demanding gamers. If you want it in your arsenal, or if you're planning to upgrade from the Xbox One X, you'll want to take advantage of Walmart's $50 discount that pulls its price down to $449 from $499. With more than 500 units sold over the past 24 hours, we're not sure how much time is remaining before stocks run out, so it's highly recommended that you make your purchase immediately if you want to pocket the savings.

Why you should buy the Microsoft Xbox Series X
The Microsoft Xbox Series X offers 12 teraflops of processing power, which enables 4K gaming and 3D spatial sound. Xbox fans will love the familiar interface, and with fast load times, your excitement will never go away. The console comes with only one controller though, so you'll have to buy one more if you want some co-op or versus action with your friends and family members.
