While there is a newer Echo Show 8 available on the market, this 1st Gen model is hardly a device to overlook. The HD smart display features an eight-inch screen and stereo sound, and Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant can help you manage your day with the device. It allows you to connect with friends and family via video calling and messaging, and for entertainment, all you have to do is ask Alexa to show you movie trailers, TV shows, movies, or the news. Radio stations, podcasts, and audiobooks are also accessible on the 1st Gen Echo Show 8. It also acts as a great digital picture frame, allowing you to put your memories on display using Amazon Photos.
