With less than a month to go, here are some of the best launch games that you can pre-order now so that you can start your PlayStation 5 journey as soon as it rolls out.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales continues the story of Marvel’s Spider-Man, with Miles Morales taking on the mantle as the new web-slinger in New York after being trained by Peter Parker. It was recently revealed that one of Morales’ costumes has him team up with Spider-Cat, who hangs around in his backpack. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is up for pre-order for $50.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

Everyone’s favorite knitted hero returns in Sackboy: A Big Adventure, a 3D platformer set in the LittleBigPlanet universe. Sackboy comes with diverse moves that will allow you to conquer challenges and and face enemies, and the game offers multiplayer co-op for up to four friends. Pre-orders for Sackboy: A Big Adventure will cost $60.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The latest entry in the long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, takes players back to the Viking Age, in control of a Viking raider by the name of Eivor as he leads the invasion on the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. You will be able to write your own saga as you explore the open world and take on the game’s main story quests and numerous side missions. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is up for pre-orders for $60.

NBA 2K21

NBA 2K21 will be the NBA 2K series’ first foray into next-generation consoles, offering upgraded visuals and refined gameplay. Players will also be able to live out their hoop dreams in an improved MyCareer experience. Pre-orders for NBA2K21 are up for $70.

Destruction AllStars

In Destruction AllStars, players engage in vehicular combat using their vehicle’s abilities and their character’s skills. You can jump into the arena solo or with teammates, but the goal stays the same : Wreck your opponents. Destruction AllStars pre-orders are now open for $70.

Godfall

Godfall is an action RPG that is described as a looter-slasher, as it focuses on melee combat to grind for rewards as opposed to the gunplay of looter-shooter games. There are five weapon classes in the game, namely with players able to further customize their characters through armor sets known as Valorplates. Pre-orders for Godfall will cost $70.
