Microsoft Memorial Day Sale: Asus, Lenovo, Samsung laptops reduced early

Microsoft has kicked off its Memorial Day sales — sort of. While the retailer hasn’t mentioned the holiday by name, it has cast some fantastic discounts into the wild at the same time its rivals are launching their promotions … and that can’t be a coincidence. After all, it’s not every day you see a Razer Blade 15.6 in the sale bin for $930 under sticker. But we digress. You’re here for the savings, and we aren’t going to stand in your way a second longer.

In typical fashion, we tasked our team of bargain hunters with the all-important mission of trimming the fat off the meat. What we’re left with is a selection of the best laptops on offer as part of Microsoft’s let’s-not-call-it-a-Memorial-Day-(not-yet-at-least)-sale. The standouts? A spreadsheet-loving Lenovo IdeaPad 2-in-1 for $699, down $200 from $899, and a battlefield-ready Asus ROG Zephyrus M for $1,300, down a massive $500 from $1,800.

The Best (Early) Microsoft Memorial Day Laptop Sales

  • Lenovo IdeaPad 2-in-1

    — $700, was $900
  • Lenovo IdeaPad S540

    — $800, was $1000
  • Samsung Galaxy Book S

    — $900, was $1000
  • Lenovo IdeaPad S940

    — $1200, was $1600
  • Asus ROG Zephyrus M Gaming Laptop

    — $1300, was $1800
  • HP Spectre x360 2-in-1

    — $1440, was $1550
  • Razer Blade 15.6 Gaming Laptop

    — $1700, was $2600
  • MSI GS75 Stealth Gaming Laptop

    — $1900, was $2100
  • Razer Blade Pro 17 Gaming Laptop

    $2400, was $2800

We should note that while there’s a chance the prices could slip even further when Microsoft does decide to slap some Memorial Day branding on the discounts, it’s unlikely to be by much — the odd $50 here and there if anything. The fact of the matter is you can’t go wrong with any of these offers, even more so if you’re in dire need of a new laptop to work or play from home. They seem to be selling out fast, though, so best act fast.

After something a little different? We’ve rounded up all the latest laptop deals from other retailers, including MacBook deals. Rather have a machine that’s a bit more portable? We’ve also cataloged the best tablet deals and iPad deals. Trying to set up a permanent battle station or workstation? You’re in luck! We’ve rounded up the leading desktop computer deals and gaming PC deals as well. What can we say? We love a good bargain!
