Hurry! PS Plus, Xbox Live Gold on sale (again) from only $5

With the world currently at a standstill and people resorting to using different social platforms to stay in touch with each other, gaming is a safe social hangout. Both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have livestream gaming services that allow gamers to talk to friends while gaming, and access exclusive deals. Gamers need a membership to access these capabilities and CDKeys is currently hosting a sale to make this much cheaper.

PlayStation Plus

  • Three Month PS Plus Membership

    $15, was $25
  • One Year PS Plus Membership

    $32, was $60

PlayStation Plus is a fantastic service that grants users a wide array of options. First of all, you’re granted access to PlayStation Plus games, which are two free games issued to users every month who are subscribed to the service. Once downloaded you’ll have full access to these at your own leisure while also being enrolled as a member of the service. Currently these include Call of Duty: WWII and Star Wars: Battlefront II, both of which make full use of the service with online multiplayer and social aspects. The storefront also delivers specific PlayStation Plus deals, offering enhanced deals to those with a membership. Additionally, you’re also granted 100GB of internet storage, providing you a safe place to store all your save data. If this wasn’t enough, the membership also provides the ability to join online chats with friends and dive into multiplayer with your group. It’s a service that provides great value for money, no matter which subscription you’re going for.

Xbox Live Gold

  • 14-Day Xbox Live Gold Membership

    $5, was $9
  • One Month Xbox Live Gold Membership

    $9, was $10
  • Three Month Xbox Live Gold Membership

    $20, was $25
  • One Year Xbox Live Gold Membership

    $55, was $60

Xbox Live Gold works pretty similarly to PlayStation Plus. Users of Xbox Live Gold will be able to stream their games on Twitch or Stream, as well as the ability to record their own game clips. Much like PlayStation Plus, users are granted free monthly games. In the case of Xbox Live’s Games With Gold, the amount jumps from two to four, with two Xbox One games and a further two Xbox 360 or original Xbox titles. Not only that, but players can continue to access these games even after their subscription runs out. This month includes superb indie games including Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, along with cult-classic Destroy All Humans. It’s also worth noting that Xbox Live Gold members can upgrade to Xbox Live Ultimate, which grants access to the Xbox Game Pass – a service which grants users to a library of hundreds of games to download for free. Subscribers will also be granted access to exclusive weekly deals to Gold members, alongside access to Free Play Days, which allow full access to titles for a limited time. Xbox Live Gold is also a necessity for those wishing to jump into online multiplayer or chat with friends online. The service grants a lot or privileges for a small asking price.

That translates to usable storage of around 842GB from 667GB, which is nearly 200GB of space that you can fill with installed games, save data, screenshots, and more. Why you should buy the PlayStation 5 Slim Marvel's Spider-Man 2 bundle
The PlayStation 5 Slim is more than just a slimmed-down version of the original PlayStation 5 -- though the difference is noticeable with 18% less weight and 30% less volume for the disc version. There's no performance upgrade between the PS5 Slim and PS5, and you'll be able to play all of the PlayStation 5 games on either model, but the PS5 Slim comes with a 1TB of storage with around 842GB usable, compared to 825GB with 667GB usable in the original PS5. That's nearly 200GB of extra space for your installed games, save data, and screenshots.
