In the last few years, there has been a boom in cheap, easy-to-use devices that can turn any old TV into a smart TV with an array of streaming features. Arguably the simplest, easiest, and cheapest way to turn your TV into a streaming hub is using a Roku Express. This device plugs into your TV using the included HDMI cable and hooks up to the internet to stream content. With this simple setup, you can start streaming your favorite services including Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, HBO, Showtime, and more. The package includes a remote to control your streaming services or you can download the Roku app to control the device from your phone. It once again comes with a remote and is a small, discreet device that is easy to hide away. Originally costing $50, the 4K stick is now on sale for $30.

If you want to stream in high definition, you should check out the Roku Streaming Stick+ which supports streaming in up to 4K and supports HDR streaming as well. This device performs the same function as the Roku Express but comes in a small form factor and enables higher definition streams, so it’s perfect for large TVs. It also comes with a remote and is just as easy to set up and use as other Roku devices. It normally costs $50, but is on sale now for $38.

For a Roku device with a ton of different connectivity options and support for 4K and HDR streaming, you should look into the Roku Ultra. It also has USB and micro SD ports so you can plug in practically any device and play media on your TV easily.
