Quit losing things: Score a free Google Nest Mini on these Tile Tracker combos

Tile’s Bluetooth trackers let you keep tabs on the items you’re most afraid to lose and in Best Buy’s Black Friday sale, you can even score a complimentary Google Nest Mini with them.

Best Buy is throwing in Google’s latest entry-level smart speaker

— which normally sells for $50 and is currently retailing for $19 — for free on a handful of combo packs of Tile’s latest trackers.

The deal is available on the 4-packs of

Tile’s base Sticker tracker ($60)

and

mid-range Mate variant ($70)

. It also applies to the

$75 mixed combo package which gets you two Tile Mates and two Tile Slims

. There’s another

$70 combo that includes a single Tile Mate, two Tile Stickers, and a Tile Mate

Unfortunately, no price discounts on the latest 2020 Tile trackers.

For the uninitiated, the Tile Sticker is the company’s base model. You can stick it onto just about anything such as remotes and track the item from a maximum distance of 150 feet. It’s also waterproof and can last three years on a single charge. The Tile Mate is meant for adding to keychains, and features an improved range of 200 feet.

Moreover, the Tile Slim is a credit-card-shaped device that you can slip into your wallet. Lastly, there’s the Tile Pro, which has double the range (400 feet) of the rest of the Tile products and the loudest alert ring tone.

If you’re not interested in the Google Nest Mini, you can consider purchasing the previous-gen Tile models as Best Buy is running price cuts on a bunch of them. The

Tile Mate 4-pack (2018)

, for instance, is down by $15 and the

Mate and Slim combo

is available for $20 less.

Alternatively, you can order directly from Tile. The company has a site-wide Black Friday sale (that’s still ongoing) and price discounts on the majority of combo packs.

While Black Friday is over, its deals and sales are still alive and kicking. You’ll find a host of discounts on products such as laptops, headphones, phones on nearly every retailer. Google has finally announced its new Nest speaker. Hitting shelves October 5, 2020, the Google Nest Audio boasts a reimagined design and bigger sound compared to its predecessor, the Google Home. The Nest Audio was one of three new pieces of hardware revealed at Google's Launch In event, alongside a reimagined Chromecast and the Pixel 5 phone.
For those considering a smart speaker, the Nest Audio is just around the corner. But is it worth it to throw down $100 for Google's latest and greatest, or will a tried and true (and smaller) Google Nest Mini do the trick? We've put both smart speakers side by side to see how they stack up against each other, weighing in on things like design, features, and price.
Design

The Google Nest Audio measures in at 6.89 inches tall and 4.89 inches wide and weighs 2.65 pounds. The speaker itself is rather rectangular, which is a welcome change from its predecessor, the original Google Home, which looked a lot like a portable humidifier. The Nest Audio's enclosure, composed mainly of a fabric wrap from top to bottom, is made out of 70% recycled plastics. The base of the speaker ditches the fabric in favor of more rugged plastic for gripping surfaces like tables and counters.
