All Charms in Dave the Diver and what they do

Upgrading and getting new gear is the main way you will progress through Dave the Diver. Your suit, storage, weapons, and more are what will let you explore ever deeper into the Blue Hole, however, there are other ways to improve yourself outside of those means.

Charms are unique items you can earn or receive as rewards that each grant you a unique buff. You are free to swap them around as you wish, but can only equip two at any one time. With 10 in total to get, having access to all of them gives you a lot of options to tailor your diving experience based on your current goals or playstyle. Here are all the Charms in Dave the Diver, how to get them, and what they do.

All Dave the Diver Charms

A description of the octopus bracelet in Dave the Diver.
Mintrocket

Most of the 10 Charms are obtained by completing missions, but a few are locked behind reaching specific levels at Bluehole Research & Protection. You can equip them by accessing the yellow box while on your boat before diving into the water. Since you can’t swap them after jumping in the Blue Hole, make sure you pick the right ones for the job at hand.

Dolphin Necklace

  • Increases dash speed by 30%

Your dash is a key movement ability, and 30% is quite a large boost to your speed if you need to outrun a dangerous predator. The Dolphin Necklace is a reward for completing the “Defeat Pirates” mission.

Octopus Bracelet

  • Use Left Ctrl to dash a short distance. No oxygen is used, but the gauge needs to fill again for the ability to be reused!

Oxygen management is critical in Dave the Diver, so any movement options that don’t suck up more of your valuable air are worth considering. This is a reward for beating the “Strange Coral” mission.

Sea People Bracelet

  • Survive for a certain period after running out of oxygen.

Speaking of air, normally you’re out of luck once your tanks hit empty. With this bracelet, you get just a few extra moments to either find some air or make it back to your pod. Collect it by completing the “Beyond the Rock Pile” mission.

Sea People Necklace

  • Allows you to travel through tubeworm tunnels.

Normally you would need to use either a UV light or attack to get through these dangerous tunnels, but you can safely swim right on through if you’ve got this necklace on. It is a reward for beating the “Deliver Key to Tenzhin” mission.

Octopus Charm

  • Extra 15% of gun base damage added

Don’t let the cuteness of this charm fool you. Guns are already among the most powerful weapons in Dave the Diver, and stacking an extra 15% of their base damage on top is devastating. Beat the “Octopus Returns” mission to get this buff.

Shark Teeth Necklace

  • Increases the base damage of a Harpoon Gun by 15%

Guns are great, but your Harpoon Gun is your most trusty weapon in most cases. Why not give it some extra oomph with this charm by beating the “Revenge Time” mission?

Eco Poison Resist Bracelet

  • Increases poison resistance.

Status effects, no matter what game they’re in, are never fun. If you reach level two at Bluehole Research & Protection you can better avoid getting poisoned while diving.

Eco Health Bracelet

  • Reduces damage taken by 10%

Let’s face it: No matter how skilled a diver you are, you’re going to get hit now and then. That 10% reduction in damage adds up fast and could mean life or death in the deeper regions. You’ll get this great charm by reaching level three at Bluehole Research & Protection.

Eco Gemstone Bracelet

  • Increases the amount of minerals acquired by mining.

Aside from catching fish, collecting resources is an important part of Dave the Diver, especially for upgrades. If you need to grind out gathering any minerals, slap on this charm you get after reaching level four Bluehole Research & Protection.

Eco Waterproof bag

  • Increases weight limit by 30 kg.

Alongside air, you will be constantly managing your weight on every dive you take. The more weight you can carry, the more fish and materials you can scoop up in a single dive, making this almost undeniably the best Charm in the game. You’ll first need to get to level five Bluehole Research & Protection to get it, though, so don’t expect it early on.

All Ancestor Skill locations in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
An Ikran flies towards a ship in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

After being raised by humans up until the start of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, your Na'vi has a lot to learn about where they come from and their lost heritage. Part of that is learning how to actually survive and navigate Pandora, but another major aspect is learning new skills. You have your standard five skill trees to invest points into, as well as a set of 12 Ancestor Skills that you can't get by normal means. These skills are far more meaningful when it comes to adding new gameplay options, and can only be obtained by hunting down specific plants to connect with on the map. It's a big world out there, Na'vi, so call your ikran (a dragon-like creature) and we'll guide you through the wilds to the location of every Ancestor Skill.
Where to find all Ancestor Skills
You will get the first Ancestor Skill early on in the game as part of the main story, which unlocks a short double-jump ability. The remaining 11 are completely optional as to whether or not you go out of your way to find them. We recommend waiting until you get your ikran before going after any skills other than the first as the ability to fly will not only make the process infinitely easier, but some skills can't be reached without it.

1. Eject
Eject makes short work of those dangerous RDA soldiers piloting power armor suits by letting you rip them right out of the cockpit. You do have to get close enough to do it, though, so be careful.
2. Drop Impact
Melee attacks are already strong considering you're a giant Na'vi, but you can make them downright deadly with this skill. Any jumping attack you do gets a damage multiplier, up to a maximum of 3, depending on how fast you're running when you melee in the air. As a nice little cherry on top, any nearby enemies also get staggered when you pull off this move.
3. Deeper Connection
Get in touch with your ikran and strengthen your bond, which gives it more stamina for whatever reason.
4. Soft Landing
Falling to your death is a real concern on Pandora. You're constantly climbing trees, mountains, and even floating islands. While it won't save you from a fall from the latter, Soft Landing lets you slide after a long fall to avoid breaking a leg.

The best Pendants in Lords of the Fallen
A cleric fights a boss in Lords of the Fallen.

Alongside the various rings in Lords of the Fallen, pendants are your other passive charm item that grants your character some unique and useful buffs. Pendants are far more rare than rings but are generally more potent as well. When paired together, though, that's when you can really start to make some interesting and powerful builds. Before you can start mixing and matching all these buffs, you need to find the pendants that will serve you. After all, a pendant that increases fire damage won't help you if you're a traditional sword and board-type player. To help you cut down on the hunt in the ruthless world of Lords of the Fallen, here are the best pendants to collect.
Best pendants

Whereas you are arbitrarily limited to just two ring slots in Lords of the Fallen, you are equally restricted to a single pendant instead of simply draping all of them around your character's neck. There are 22 pendants in all to find, but these are the cream of the crop.
Shuja Harmony Hoop
Spellcasters are not the most popular builds in souls-like games, but can be some of the most powerful if you're willing to learn them. Even if you only use spells occasionally, this Shuja Harmony Hoop can make them a key part of your build. After you cast any spell the next spell you cast will deal increased damage for a short time, stacking for each subsequent spell you fire off. The effect is even greater if you swap between spells from different magic types. If you can stack the effect, even weaker spells can eventually deal substantial damage.
Scornful Effigy
How confident are you? If you are a master at dodges and parries and love living on the edge with a glass-cannon build, then the Scornful Effigiy is perfect for you. This pendant will drop your maximum HP, but buff your damage in return. Aside from being great for confident players, this is also a fantastic pendant for ranged builds too.
Relic of Perpetuation
Basically, the exact opposite of the last pendant, the Relic of Perpetuation is just a simple buff to your maximum HP. This is going to be more of a crutch pendant if you're finding a particular section or boss just a slight bit too challenging and need an extra hit or two to overcome but it isn't one you should be using the entire game
Princess' Sting
Your equip load in Lords of the Fallen primarily determines how quickly you move and what type of role you have. Most players will tend to opt for light or medium-level equip loads, and if you go for a light build, the Princess' Sting pendant should be an easy pick. So long as you have a light load, this pendant will make all your attacks deal additional damage. Just make sure you don't go too high or the effect won't trigger.
Paladin's Pendant
Finally, for some raw stats you can just equip and forget about, the Paladin's Pendant will give your character a buff to both strength and endurance. It goes without saying, but this is meant for strength builds, and is the best one to wear for those characters.

The best rings in Lords of the Fallen
The Lords of the Fallen trailer.

Magical rings are nothing new to fantasy or games, and Lords of the Fallen makes good use of these little pieces of jewelry. Unlike armor or weapons, rings are an accessory that gives you passive bonuses as long as you're wearing them. While not as immediately noticeable as other gear can be, some of these rings are quite strong and can do a lot to improve your build and playstyle. Some give straight attribute buffs, while others have more conditional effects, but with dozens to pick from and find, you'll be spoiled for choice. No matter what build you're going for, these are the best rings to bling out your character within Lords of the Fallen.
Best rings

There are well over 50 rings in Lords of the Fallen, and despite your character having 10 fingers, or at least 8 if you don't count thumbs, to wear them on, you have to choose only two at a time. Rings can be found either in chests or by beating special enemies or bosses.
Ring of Nourishment
Health is your most valuable resource in Lords of the Fallen, as is the case with all Soulslikes. You have limited healing options normally, so getting through a tough or new area can wear your character down over time as you run out of healing. The Ring of Nourishment can't replace your default healing but is a great supplement to keep you going and save a few charges. Each enemy you kill while wearing this ring will restore a bit of your health. If you play carefully and smartly, you can use it to completely undo some mistakes. This ring won't do you much good in boss fights, though.
Ring of Gnawing
For the more spell-focused builds, mana is always tough to manage. Unlike stamina, which will automatically replenish itself over time, but require you to rest at a checkpoint or use a consumable item. If you have the Ring of Gnawing, you can get a bit of mana back every time you hit an enemy with a normal attack. This is ideal for builds that spec in both strength or agility and a magic focus since you can swap back and forth as you regain and spend your mana.
Ring of Duty
This is a somewhat boring pick, but if you're a more traditional build focused on hitting things hard and fast, then the Ring of Duty is an easy one to slap on. This simply buffs both your VIT and END attributes to make you that much harder to kill.
Queen Verena II's Ring
If the Ring of Nourishment is a bit too risky for you, you can always fall back on the Queen of Verena II's Ring. This is a simple HP regen ring that slowly ticks up your health over time. If you are patient enough, you can take a break after each encounter to get back to full health before moving on, though that can be quite boring.
Ring of Bones
Lords of the Fallen breaks down your equipment load into four categories: light, medium, heavy, and overburdened. Most players will feel most comfortable at either medium or light burden levels for a more fluid feeling combat flow, but keeping yourself that light is tough without forgoing some armor or weapons. The Ring of Bones can help you sneak under these thresholds by increasing your character's maximum equip load.
Mineowner's Ring
As an alternative to the Ring of Duty, or complement to it if you wear both, the Mineowner's Ring is focused only on stamina. Not only is it a better stamina buff, but it also increases the rate your stamina recovers so you can get back on the offensive as fast as possible.
