Dead Space 2 multiplayer trailer

In the sequel to the 2008 hit Dead Space, the aptly named Dead Space 2 will continue the story of poor Isaac Clarke, as he continues to be the tastiest looking morsel on the Necromorph buffet. But a new multiplayer mode will ensure that you and your friends can go survival horroring together, thanks to the new online multiplayer.

EA has released a trailer showing off the multiplayer aspect of the game. The online game types will allow you to play against your best friends… and then murder them horribly as either a bloodthirsty necromorph, or an Isaac-ish engineer. Most of the mission types are still under wraps, but from what we have seen, the games will generally be cooperative based, in the sense that your team must work together to either survive and defeat the necromorphs, or team up on the puny humans.

Dead Space 2 will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on January 25, 2011.

Frostpunk 2: release date, trailers, gameplay and more

Winter, or should we say Frostpunk 2, is coming. The sequel to one of the most brutal takes on the city-building genre has been cooking for a long time, and fans have been eagerly anticipating any scrap of news about this chilling title. The original was one of the few games to mix survival and city simulation elements together, all wrapped up in a frozen backdrop that made every decision harrowing. So come, sit by the warmth of the furnace, and learn everything we know about Frostpunk 2.
Release date

Frostpunk 2 will launch on September 20 after getting a two-month delay from its original date of July 25, 2024.
Platforms
As of the time of this writing, Frostpunk 2 is only confirmed to be coming to PC. However, the original game was also a PC exclusive before later being ported to console, so it is possible the sequel will follow a similar staggered release schedule.

How to fix Helldivers 2 matchmaking issues

Helldivers 2 is a ridiculously-fun squad shooter for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. With a major emphasis on co-op play, one of the core features of any multiplayer game is matchmaking. This is the game’s ability to group random players together for an online session. While this should be a pretty automated process that players don’t have to worry about, some Helldiver fans have reported failed matchmaking. If you keep finding yourself unable to land in a lobby, here’s a couple of things you can try to fix the issue.
How to fix matchmaking issues
Before offering some potential solutions, know that these are workarounds and not official remedies to the problem. Arrowhead has stated in its official Discord that it is aware of the problems and is working on a fix. However, if you just can't wait to get back to blasting bugs with your pals, here are some methods some players have found success with.

The next Battlefield game is in development with help from Dead Space studio

EA Motive, the studio behind 2023's excellent Dead Space remake, confirmed that the next Battlefield game is in development and that it will assist with its development. Unfortunately, work on that new game also means that seasonal updates for Battlefield 2042 will cease after the conclusion of Season 7: Turning Point.

These announcements were made across two separate blog posts. The one about EA Motive explains that "a group of developers from Motive are joining the talented teams at Criterion, DICE, and Ripple Effect to continue unlocking the full potential of Battlefield." Dead Space remake creative director Roman Compos-Oriola and executive producer Philippe Ducharme were named as the leaders of this team.
