Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Necromantic Strand location for Essence of Brutality quest

How to find the Necromantic Strand in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep

If you’re looking to complete the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Essence of Brutality questline, you may find yourself stuck looking for something called a Necromantic Strand. Like Shadowkeep’s other essence quest lines, you’ll have to track down an item in an unmarked location to complete this. Doing so will grant you Loud Lullaby, a powerful legendary hand cannon with insanely high impact.

In addition to finding the item, you’ll also need to complete activities on the moon and get 50 kills with a hand cannon. So before you go looking for the Strand, make sure to equip a hand cannon to kill two thrall with one stone.

Necromantic Strand Location

To find the Necromantic Strand, you’ll first need to find the Hall of Wisdom. Start by loading into the Sanctuary location on the Moon. From there, go west and follow the path all the way to Archer’s Line.

Once there, you’ll want to look for the dome-like building that’s up on a hill. You’ll find this on your right once you enter the area. Enter the dome building and exit its other side. You’ll should see a hill leading down towards a Hive structure.

Enter the structure and follow it all the way down. Eventually, you’ll find yourself in the Hall of Wisdom. Go right once you get in and head for the circular structures at the center of the room.

At this point, a waypoint marker should pop up on the screen indicating the Strands location. Follow it, and you’ll find the Strand sitting on the ground. Pick it up to check this off your to-do list.

Once you complete all three steps, all you have to do is head back to the lectern near the Sanctuary landing zone on the Moon and interact with it. Voila! Loud Lullaby will be added to your collection! If you manage to accidentally dismantle Loud Lullaby, don’t worry! Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the lectern and get the quest again. So you’ll be able to farm Loud Lullaby as many times as you want if you’re hunting for the perfect roll.

Destiny 2 studio Bungie hit by layoffs, internal game delays
A runner runs in Marathon.

Amid a wave of layoffs at Destiny developer and Sony subsidiary Bungie this week, Destiny 2: The Final Shape and Marathon have both reportedly been delayed.
On Monday morning, tweets from developers revealed that Bungie, which was acquired by Sony in January 2022, was suffering layoffs. This was followed up by a report from Bloomberg that went into more detail about the layoffs and their impact on Bungie's future games. Sony and Bungie have not officially commented on the delays yet, although the Bloomberg article mentions that Bungie CEO Pete Parsons will hold a team meeting later today to discuss the layoffs further. This all follows contractor layoffs at Sony studio Naughty Dog earlier this month, which happened as that studio struggles to develop and release a The Last of Us multiplayer game.

Bloomberg suggests that these layoffs, like others at Sony this year, are tied to internal game delays. While Destiny 2: The Final Shape is publicly slated to come out in February 2024, Bungie reportedly told staff that it's now going to come out in June 2024. Meanwhile, we learned that Bungie's revival of Marathon was apparently targeting a 2024 launch -- although no release window was given officially -- but will now come out sometime in 2025. These delays make the PlayStation 5's 2024 game lineup look pretty sparse right now outside of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and it suggests that Destiny 2's next season will be one of its longest.
As of now, Sony and Bungie have not publicly commented on the layoffs or delays, but we will update this post when they do say more about it.

All stash locations in Alan Wake 2 and how to open them
Alan drenched in green light in Alan Wake 2.

FBI agent Saga Anderson and her partner, Alex Casey, are called into Bright Falls to investigate a murder committed by a strange group calling themselves the Cult of the Trees. These dangerous cultists are your main enemy in Alan Wake 2, and they put up quite a fight despite mostly using basic tools as weapons. They seem mindless and primitive, but the fact that they have a series of Cultist Stashes hidden all around the world suggests otherwise. These treasure troves are very well hidden, and they're protected with a small puzzle to try and prevent those who may stumble upon one from grabbing all the goodies inside. You'll find yourself short on supplies essentially all the time in Alan Wake 2, so scooping up some extra ammo and batteries is always welcome. Here is where you can find all the Cultist Stashes in Alan Wake 2 and how to open them.
All Cultist Stash locations
There are a total of 21 Cultist Stashes to find and unlock in Alan Wake 2. Each zone has its own set to find, and they all have different puzzles you need to solve to open them. None are missable, but some can't be obtained until you make story progress or get specific tools.
Bright Falls Cult Stashes

The first Cult Stash you can find comes as soon as you reach the town of Bright Falls for the first time. Instead of going straight to your destination down the block, turn around and head toward the dead end. Behind the truck will be a big locked box. To open this one, all you need to do is play a little game of Simon Says. The keypad will flash three buttons in a sequence that you simply need to repeat to open the box and grab the loot.

All Marko’s Memories locations in Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man perched on a balcony.

The opening sequence of Spider-Man 2 is a massive, technical showpiece of an encounter with the iconic villain Sandman, aka Flint Marko. Despite Peter and Miles thwarting the villain's rampage in the opening hours, his impact on the map -- and the game at large -- is far from over. Even after being sent away to prison on The Raft, Sandman has left behind mysterious crystals that are causing trouble all across the city. These become one of the many side activities you can participate in between main missions for some extra rewards like City Tokens. While they are all optional, completing each of these Marko's Memories activities does uncover a narrative about the troubled man and someone close to him that is well worth exploring. Besides, you will need to clean them all up if you want to fully complete the game anyway, so let's detail where you can find each of Marko's Memories in Spider-Man 2.
Where to find Marko's Memories

There are 14 crystals scattered across the various boroughs of Spider-Man 2's New York, but just like with other collectibles like Prowler Stashes, you will have to wait for some to unlock as you make story progress. Additionally, the 14th and final memory won't be available until you've gotten all the others, and it leads to the quest's final objective. These will show up as an orange crystal on your map, but you can also spot them from all the sand they create around the area. When you approach one, you will need to fight a few waves of sand enemies before you can grab the crystal, crack it open, and hear the memory inside. Here's which borough you should be looking for them in, and how many there are in each.
