All pirate relic locations in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Upon reaching Chapter 12 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you’ll notice a pirate chest on the dock at Costa Del Sol. Interacting with it grants you a map and an objective to set sail on the Tiny Bronco to find four pirate relics. Combining them all will earn you a useful accessory that will improve your treasure-hunting capabilities on the high seas, so we recommend tracking them all down.

Note that in addition to finding all four of the pirate relics, you also need to take on a boss encounter at each location that is likely to test your mettle, so be sure you come prepared. When you’re ready to get started, check out the pictures below for the exact locations of each pirate relic.

Pirate Relic No. 1

Pirate Treasure Relic Location
Square-Enix

The first relic is south of the Costa Del Sol port along the western border, and will likely be your first stop along the quest to finding all of the relics.

Pirate Relic No. 2

The second relic is located across the ocean on an island below Junon. It’s quite a trek to ger there from the previous relic, but it’s worth getting this one out of the way second, as the last two are close to one another.

Pirate Relic No. 3

The third relic is located on an island just north of the Corel region, and you’ll need to pass through a strait to reach it.

Pirate Relic No. 4

The fourth and final relic can be easily found on an island just a bit further north than the previous one.

When will Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth be on PC?
Cloud,. Aerith, and Tifa stand together in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

PlayStation 5 players have been raving about the second part of the FF7 remake project Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. As with the first part, it was made clear well in advance that this game would be a PlayStation exclusive at launch, however, we did eventually get Remake of the first part on PC around a year later. This gives PC players hope that the same treatment will be given to Rebirth, but the big question becomes how long will we have to wait this time? Is it possible to see it come to PC storefronts faster than its prequel, or will we need to bide our time avoiding spoilers for months on end? Here's our best estimate as to when you can expect to see Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PC.
What is the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC release date?

The sad fact of the matter is we don't have an official release date for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PC or any other platform at this time. But there is reason to at least hope that the wait won't be as long this time around. Our only clue is that the marketing for Rebirth states that it is a PlayStation 5 exclusive until at least May 29, 2024. That's exactly three months after its initial release.

Aerith prays in FInal Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

This article contains spoilers for Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Midway through 1997’s Final Fantasy VII, Cloud Strife walks up a small staircase and finds his companion, Aerith, kneeling on a small platform. She’s locked in prayer as holy-looking light streaks in through the windows around her. That serene moment gives way to a shocking tragedy. Aerith looks at Cloud and calmly smiles before the camera pans above her head. A black shadow bursts out of the light above her; it’s the villainous Sephiroth, massive sword in tow. Before Cloud can process what’s happening, Sephiroth plunges his sword through Aerith’s back, killing her.

The queen's blood board in FINAL FANTASY 7: REBIRTH.

When you reach Costa Del Sol in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you will quickly realize that Cloud and the crew aren't exactly dressed for a relaxing vacation at the beach. All that leather and black certainly won't be comfortable -- and don't get us started on how much sand is going to get in those boots. Before you can even set foot on the sand to relax by the water, Cloud will need to earn some tickets to get more appropriate beachwear. The only way to earn these tickets is to participate in some team minigames, including the Card Carnival on the docks. This is a twist on the Queen's Blood card game you may have been playing throughout your adventure up until now (or perhaps you've been completely ignoring it). Either way, this game is not your typical match, with specific challenges that are more like puzzles than proper games. They can be rather tricky, so we'll help you play your cards right to beat the initial set of Card Carnival trials and earn that swimsuit.
