Xbox teamed up with Lamborghini and Hot Wheels to host “Kids into Car Lovers Day” at the Santa Monica Boys & Girls Club in celebration of Forza Horizon 2‘s recent release. The event involved a fleet of shiny, new Lamborghinis for gawking, gifting Hot Wheels toys to all the kids in attendance, and of course playing lots of Forza Horizon 2.

Leading up to the event, Xbox hosted the “Forza Design Challenge,” inviting hundreds of kids from 10 Boys & Girls Clubs to design custom paint jobs for the game’s headline care: the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán. The three winning designs were revealed at the event, and will be available as a free download for every Forza Horizon 2 owner in the future.

At CES 2023, Sony confirmed that there would be over 30 launch titles for PlayStation VR2. Today, we learned specifics on what exactly 37 of those PlayStation VR2 launch window games are on PlayStation Blog.
This announcement also contains 13 new titles that we didn't know were coming to PlayStation VR before. Particular new highlights include Before Your Eyes, an emotionally moving game where blinking is the main form of interaction, Tetris Effect: Connected, a multiplayer-enhanced version of one the original PlayStation VR's best games, and What the Bat?, a comedy game where the player's arms are bats. Of course, the crown jewel of PlayStation VR2's launch is still Horizon Call of the Mountain, a VR spin-off of one of PlayStation's most successful recent franchises.

There were many ongoing games to pick from in 2022, a lot of which include live service elements like online multiplayer, microtransactions, and regular content updates -- though not all are worth investing your time into.

Even though there are plenty of stinkers out there to avoid, there were also several ongoing games that kept our attention in 2022, ranging across several genres. From globe-trotting online roleplaying games to far simpler games you can play at a café bench, here are 10 games that set the bar for live service in 2022.
