An update to fix the problematic multiplayer in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which was originally set to arrive on November 19, has been delayed until later in the week according to a post from developer 343 Industries. The extra time is needed to wrap up additional fixes and complete the testing and certification process.
Many users reported (and continue to report) extreme delays in multiplayer matchmaking that made it difficult to find a match after the game’s November 11, 2014 release. The impending patch includes solutions for that particular problem, along with general user interface and game stability improvements, and fixes for minor bugs in the games included in the compilation.
Full patch notes will be available later this week along with the patch itself.
