The latest update to Grand Theft Auto Online adds a host of new gear, vehicles, and the ability to create your own Last Team Standing jobs. This vicious mode pits teams head to head with no second chances. Ten new Last Team Standing jobs have been spread around Los Santos, and the Creator has been updated to let you create even more.

The Creator has also been updated with the ability to add rounds to Capture and Last Team Standing jobs. You can also now limit weapons in the Job Creator, creating scenarios like “Snipers-Only,” or even the Goldeneye classic, “Slappers-Only.”

It's had plenty of competition over the years, but Grand Theft Auto V remains one of the most popular open-world crime games on the planet. Rockstar has given the game constant updates to keep its thriving community happy, and it even ported the game to PS5 and Xbox Series X. One thing hasn't changed since launch, however, and that's a constant need to fill your virtual pockets with cash. And if you need cash fast, selling a car is a great option.

10 significant video game anniversaries worth celebrating in 2024
Gordon Freeman's suit in Half-Life 2 RTX

2024 isn’t going to be as jam-packed with new AAA games as 2022 and 2023 were, giving us more time to go back and appreciate the classics. Anniversaries and the celebrations that follow are commonplace in the video game industry, especially if that anniversary is a multiple of five. Plenty of fantastic, influential games will hit milestones this year, but a few stand out. Some could even offer teasers into what might be in store for 2024 if developers plan to celebrate their classics. Regardless of whether these birthdays come with any presents, these are 10 video game anniversaries worth celebrating this year.
Warcraft -- 30 years

I can’t talk about video game anniversaries in 2024 without bringing up Warcraft. 2024 is filled with milestones for the series, thanks to some uniform releases from Blizzard. The entire franchise will turn 30 on November 15, as that's the day Warcraft: Orcs & Humans released and redefined the real-time strategy genre in 1994. Then there’s World of Warcraft, the most popular MMO of all time, which turns 20 in November 2023. Finally, the Warcraft digital collectible card game Hearthstone turns ten on March 11. To celebrate, Blizzard Entertainment plans to release World of Warcraft’s The War Within expansion and add Cataclysm to World of Warcraft Classic.

Xbox Game Pass kicks off 2024 by adding an all-time great remake
Mr.X pulling open a door in Resident Evil 2.

The new year has just begun, and Microsoft has announced the first group of games coming to Xbox Game Pass this year. Throughout the first half of January, Microsoft's game subscription service is set to receive eight new games. Most notably, Capcom's excellent Resident Evil 2 remake from 2019 joins Xbox Game Pass on January 16.

First released nearly five years ago on January 25, 2019, Resident Evil 2 set a new standard for horror remakes. It completely reimagined the original fixed-camera PlayStation 1 horror game as a tense third-person shooter with an intimate over-the-shoulder camera, while still retaining the core elements that made the original great. The influence of Resident Evil 2's remake can be felt not just in subsequent Resident Evil games, but in titles from other developers, like Alan Wake 2, Dead Space, and the upcoming Alone in the Dark remake.
