Even in an early access state, Palworld boasts a massive world map you can explore either solo or with a group of friends. While there are tons of sights to see and Pals to capture and put to work at your base, a major portion of your time will be spent on gathering crafting materials. Unlike Paldium, which can be found all over, other resources like coal can’t be found in any region of the map. If you were thinking you might be able to cheat the system a bit and simply buy some, guess again, because no vendor has any of these black lumps in stock, even the Black Marketeers. If you’re desperate for some coal, we can point you in the right direction.

Coal can only be mined from large deposits of the stuff in the open world of Palworld. While you might think it would be found underground, in reality, you need to head north to the desert region. Of course, being such a hot climate means that you will need to have heat-resistant gear so you can survive out there long enough to get your hands on the stuff.

Once you have the proper clothing equipped, just head into the sandy dunes and look for big black boulders. Any pickax will work to mine them, but a metal one will let you gather way more than a basic one. Either way, you may want to bring a spare or two so you can get a large supply in a single trip.

There's no way to cheat the system here, and if you don't grasp what the game is asking you to do, you're mostly out of luck. Terminals will hide great loot behind their cryptic puzzles, as well as allow you to take over certain controls to turn your enemy's security against them. Hacking has tons of uses, so let's brush up on your computer skills and give you a refresher on how to hack in Fallout 4.

When you first interact with a terminal to hack in Fallout 4, it will be a little overwhelming. As long as you have a high enough hacking skill to attempt a hack, you can go right into the minigame.

The basic idea of hacking is to find words hidden in that jumble of letters and symbols. Your goal is to find the correct word to crack the terminal before you run out of attempts. Once you find any word and select it, the terminal will tell you how close that word is to the correct one based on how many letters it has in the same space as the answer in the form of a likeness rating. The higher the rating, the more letters it has in common. It is somewhat similar to Wordle, only you don't type in the words yourself.

Crafting is as important a mechanic in Fallout 76 as shooting and looting. As is the case with every Bethesda game, you will be collecting every item in the world that isn't nailed down to use for parts until you're over--encumbered. Being a live service game, you will often also be tasked with hunting down a specific material or item as part of a daily or weekly challenge. One fairly common one is to find burnt books. There are a few smaller stashes of these singed paperbacks around Appalachia, but one location in particular is the mother lode. There are no libraries in the wasteland, but we know the location of the secret stashwhere you'll find all the burnt books you could want.

There are several locations that have a handful of burnt books, but there's one that has well over 100 in a single location. To fill your bookshelves in a single trip, head over to Summersville and go to the house at the location shown on the map. Take out the ghouls outside and enter the house. Whoever lived there must've been quite the book enthusiast as there are stacks of burnt books to loot on each floor of the house. Once trip here and you will complete your quest and stock up on as many burnt books as you need.

Dragon's Dogma 2 likes to keep many of its mechanics and systems a secret until you discover them. You will learn quickly that you can't fast travel around the map freely, but there's one mechanic that is far more detrimental to your game. This is called dragonsplague and it is a disease that can't be cured with a simple tonic. In fact, you may not even realize if you have it in your game because it isn't something that affects your character at all; instead, it affects your Pawns. Failing to recognize you have dragonsplague and deal with it in a timely manner can ruin your entire playthrough if you're not careful. To avoid such a catastrophe, here are all the details about this cruel disease.
What is dragonsplague?

Dragonsplague is a special kind of disease that Pawns can contract seemingly by interacting with either Drakes or Dragons. That part isn't fully clear yet, however, we do know that Pawns with dragonsplague can spread the disease to other Pawns. Since Pawns are able to pass between worlds to join other players, you are never fully safe from being infected if you're playing online. Unlike a real sickness, though, dragonsplague actually transfers between Pawns rather than spreads, meaning it won't fully run rampant through the game.
