Steam has introduced a new way for users to identify games they may be interested in, thanks to a new “Tagging” ability. The new feature allows Steam customers to tag games in a number of categories, which then helps to identify similar games.

“Now available in beta, Tagging gives Steam customers the ability to ‘Tag’ any title with genres, themes, attributes, or any other term or phrase,” Valve’s announcement reads. “The most popular tags on any given product will be surfaced on said product’s Steam page and allow users to easily find other products associated with that same tag.”

Users can browse by popular tags, or browse by recommendations. Tags are also available in multiple languages. The level of detail in those tags can be intense. It might be broken up by genre, gameplay, even individual developers in some cases. Filters can help you make sense of the overload of information, and narrow down games you may like.

“As the catalog of products available on Steam continues to grow, we want to ensure that it is easy for customers to find the particular types of games or software they are looking for,” said Valve’s Al Farnsworth. “With this new feature, we are providing another powerful tool to help organize and browse products on Steam.”

The user-defined feature is currently in beta.

The Dell G16 7630 gaming laptop on a white background.

The latest version of the Dell G16 gaming laptop, released last year, just had its price slashed with a $300 discount from Dell. In one of the brand's most attractive gaming laptop deals, you'll only have to pay $1,200 for this reliable machine instead of $1,500. Its price may go back to normal as soon as tomorrow though, so if you want to make sure that you get this device for cheaper than usual, there's no time to waste -- complete your purchase immediately, as otherwise, you're risking missing out on the savings.

Why you should buy the Dell G16 gaming laptop
The Dell G16 7630, the successor of the Dell G16 7620, offers upgraded specifications with the 13th-generation Intel Core i9 processor and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, with 16GB of RAM that's good for gaming, according to our guide on how much RAM do you need. With these components, the gaming laptop will be able to run the best PC games without any issues, though maybe not at the highest settings for the more demanding titles. Additionally, it may last long enough to let you play the upcoming PC games of the next few years.

The Sims 4 may be hitting its 10th birthday soon, but the developers at Maxis are still working to update and fix the game. This time, it's with the help of a new team that will focus specifically on these core issues.

3 new PS Plus games to play this Memorial Day weekend (May 24-27)
Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Memorial Day is coming up, so you're probably wondering what games you should play on your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 over the holiday weekend. Lucky for you, a new batch of games were added to the PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra game catalog earlier this week, and it brought plenty of games well worth your time. Three in particular stand out to me; download them today and try them out over the next few days.

The first is a Western from Rockstar Games that needs little introduction and is a must-play if you haven't experienced it yet. The next is an open-world game that kick-started a new series for Ubisoft and turns 10 next week. Finally, a retro PlayStation 1 game that just came to PlayStation Plus Premium offers up a good time if you enjoy sports or racing games.
