SouthPeak Games has announced it plans to ship a sequel to its well-regarded Two Worlds open-world RPG for Windows PCs and the Xbox 360 this fall. Titled Two Worlds: The Temptation, the new game will take place just after the event portrayed in the first game, and feature just as much original content, along with a new combat system and game engine designed to push game play to a whole new level.
“I’m sure fans of RPGs will be pleased with the vast amounts of new content and massive improvements to the core game play in Two Worlds: The Temptation,” said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak Games. “It’s an ambitious, yet refined title that will surprise a lot of people.”
Two Worlds: The Temptation will feature more involved missions, retooled horseback riding, a fully revamped combat system, and improved voiceovers and animation. Players will also be able to use boats, move objects to defeat enemies or reach higher ground, and the sequel will feature a wealth of new environments and animals.
SouthPeak Games hasn’t announced pricing or rating information for the sequel; the current version of Two Worlds is rated M for “Mature” by the ESRB.
