If our write-up of how the newly-playable Claptrap works in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel got you excited, then this is the narrated gameplay video you’re looking for. Developers from Gearbox Software and 2K Australia showed off the mouthy little robotat PAX prime this past August.

After running through Claptrap’s action ability and three skill trees, they set the robot loose with gunslinger Nisha to rain down some pain on unprepared lunar scavengers. For the demo the developers focus on his support tree, “I Love You Guys!” which culminates in the “HIGH FIVES GUYS” skill wherein Claptrap spreads buffs around to teammates who lay some skin on him.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, a fantasy version of Borderlands, coming in early 2022

Gearbox and 2K revealed Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, a Borderlands spinoff adventure, at Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest on Thursday. The game features a star-studded cast, including Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, Wanda Sykes, and Ashley Burch, who will be reprising her Borderlands voice role of Tiny Tina.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a high-fantasy take on Borderlands that, according to Burch, should remind players of the Borderlands 2 DLC Assault on Dragon Keep. While the game will include elements and characters from past entries in the Borderlands franchise, it is a stand-alone title. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' announcement shouldn't come as a huge surprise, as the game's existence was leaked recently.

Xcom Marvel Game E3 Leak

The Avengers might be making an appearance at this year's E3 -- just not how you would expect. According to a leak of 2K's E3 plans posted on Reddit, Firaxis, the developer behind the XCOM franchise, is working on a turn-based game with Marvel characters.

According to the leak, the title from Firaxis is currently in development and code-named CODA. The leaker's source described it as "XCOM with Marvel heroes," and said that some "famous actors are voicing the characters." All signs in this case point to Marvel's Avengers, but with the size of the Marvel universe, the characters could easily be from the X-Men or the Fantastic Four.
